PRESENT:
Remote location, Las Almas, 2022After I somehow noticed a familiar face in the crowded streets of Las Almas, I mostly didn't speak during the mission while we tried to capture Hassan, in which we were successful.
I don't know how we pulled it off, thinking we were going to die at any moment, but thanks to commander Philip Graves and his Shadow Company PMC's, we luckily managed to capture this son of a bitch!
It happened so quick, I could almost blink with my eyes and we were already transporting him towards a remote location so that AQ, or the cartel definitely couldn't find him.
We needed a place to interrogate him, and the middle of nowhere seems to be the best location, surrounded by nothing but an empty and dry desert; no man's land.
It's almost night, and when you're in the middle of nowhere there's absolutely not a single light source to keep you awake.
The only light source is coming from the car so that we can properly interrogate Hassan. You can say it's definitely an intense situation, especially for him.
But I'll think the bastard is used to these kind of things, hoping we're finally gonna get some valuable information out of him.
And as of right now, Graves is talking with Shepherd and Laswell over a laptop to hopefully get some information straight towards the bosses.
We might be in the middle of nowhere, but you'll be surprised what kind of tools the military has to make this communication possible.
It's Soap who's standing closely behind Graves, while Alejandro holds Hassan hostage in the middle of the group in case he decides to run off.
And that makes me sitting in the passengers seat of one of the cars, leaning with my legs over the side so that my feet are almost touching the rocky sand we're parked on.
And that while Ghost is leaning his big body on my doorframe, meaning I can take a closer look at him now from this point of view.
He looks even taller now I'm seated, and more handsome, obviously.
With his thick, geared up suit he looks even bigger in a good way, looking like he's hiding every part of his body while I got the privilege to stare at it a while ago, wishing to do it all over again.
I mean we fucked because we both wanted it, but I feel like there's so much more going on we're both not really admitting to each other.
Ghost is hard to read, that's for fucking sure, but maybe Simon Riley isn't once he would finally remove his mask.
It's too obvious I can always see him stare at me during moments I think he's realizing I'm not noticing him, but I always do; always.
However, I don't know his reasons because I can't read his face; I can't see his feelings, what he really wants, because I'm sure as hell he isn't just a ghost to look at sometimes.
But to come back to my sudden hallucination, as I would call it like that, the others told me I suddenly fell asleep when we were driving towards the town where Hassan was supposed to be hiding.
I couldn't remember any of that, even if Soap told me my head immediately slumped down onto Ghost's shoulder.
He didn't mind, he probably found it comforting in a way, but Alejandro still cared; we sure as hell need to talk when we RTB, because I still want to know what the fuck happened.
I'm not paying much attention to their interrogation either. I'm only hearing bits and pieces while Ghost is tracking Hassan's phone; we could easily speak with each other without being heard or noticed.
