A/N: all I do is listen to soundtracks while writing this book, I love this one in particular. It's from house of the dragon, also in the playlist, thought it fitted this chapter :)

I tried to overcome my fear by talking with Ghost, even if I don't have the balls to do any of that.
I couldn't find him anymore after the briefing, meaning he must have locked himself up in his room while waiting for further instructions from Alejandro.
And yes, Soap Mactavish specifically said I need to talk with him, because this bitching between us is definitely holding us up.
But as I wanted to make my way towards his room after dinner in the cafeteria, I was going to knock on his door before something suddenly held me back; I don't know what it was, I guess I just want him to apologize first because I'm not going to lower myself to his behavior.
Instead, I wanted to clear my head by myself. The best place to do this isn't by locking yourself up in your room, but to go outside in the middle of the night, just outside of the MSF base.
As I exactly remembered from last time, there's a small hill close by the base, surrounded by a small forest where you can watch the base.
The ground is soft, some leaves are covering the place because it's almost winter, but you don't really notice that here.
And the hill is a perfect spot where you can hide yourself from all of your problems, which is what I decided to do.
Especially during nights like right now, because the sky is as crystal clear as it can be and beautiful as ever!
At this point, constellation Sagittarius has made it's way into the sky, and I never would've thought of seeing the Milky Way in real life!
It's so mesmerizing, with like a million stars looking like the ocean, but instead of drowning in it you want to swim in it.
It makes the sky even brighter, and I cannot believe the boys are hiding theirselves in their rooms or with each other in the cafeteria to relax; if you would take a look at this, you wouldn't want to leave ever.
But it's hard; to hold back my tears because I feel like the problems are building theirselves up every single time, and I don't know how to fix them, besides the fact we're still on a lost cause mission.
I fucking hate waiting for instructions, but sometimes you don't really have a choice, and to be honest I rather stay here right now where I can peacefully admire the Milky Way.
Alone, or so I thought.
My heart lumped into my throat when I suddenly felt a cold blade pressed against my throat as my thoughts became one big mess on their own.
I can only hear someone's breathing, very heavily almost as if this breath is held back by something. Guess twice.
Not only did he hold me with a knife against my throat, but he also snaked his one, big arm around my waist so that I definitely can't fight back.
Whoever this is, is a trained killer and knows how to attack someone by killing them in cold blood.
"One down," He said sternly, holding his knife firmly against my throat still and I almost thought he was actually going to kill me right here and now; let's be honest, we can't get through one door together anymore.
