Vicki's POV

Nik wakes me up when we reach our destination. I wipe my eyes as I step out of the suv. We're in a warehouse.

"What are we doing here?"

Nik walks over to the warehouse door and opens it to reveal Chicago.

"I know how much you loved it here. Bringing back memories of the good old ripper days."

"I blacked out most of them. Lot of blood, lot of partying. Details were all a blur."

"We'll that is a crying shame. The details are what makes it legend."

I smile remembering that they used to be friends.

We finally reach my favorite bar. We walk in and immediately get recognized by the owner.

"You got to be kidding me."

"So, a hybrid walks into a bar, says to the bart-"

"Stop." She interrupts. "You may be invincible but that doesn't make you funny." She looks at Stefan. "I remember you."

"Yeah." He answers. "You're Gloria."

"And Gloria, this is-"

I interrupt him this time by running over to her and bringing her into a big hug.

She gently caresses my head. "How you doin Honey?"

"Good, thanks."

"You two know each other." Nik states rather than questioning.

"This little honey pie came to me when she first turned. So I thought her everything I knew."

"She gave me my first grimoire." I say with a big smile.

"She's the one that helped with astral projection?" I nod.

"Enough about her, why are you here?"

"Oh, Nik doesn't believe what I told him about what he did wrong to make his hybrids, even though I see the future and he is my twin flame and all."

She looks at him with a raised brow and he just stands there like a scolded child.

"I didn't say it like that!"

"Well, you must have done something wrong."

"I did the sacrifices and I killed the doppelgänger, what else is there."

"Every spell has a loophole. But a spell that old, we'd have to contact the witch who created it."

"Well, that would be the original witch. She's very dead."

"I know. And for me to contact her, I'll need help. Bring me Rebekah."

"Rebekah is a bit preoccupied."

Stefan is behind the bar fixing a drink when he sees a picture.

"She has what I need. Bring her to me."

Stefan holds up the picture. "What is this?"

"Well, I told you Stefan. Chicago is a magical place."

"But this is me, with you."

Cue dramatic pause.

We were in the warehouse. We walked up to the coffins.

"This doesn't make any sense. Why don't I remember you?" Stefan inquires.

"You said it yourself, that time had a lot of dark holes."

Stefan shook his head. "No, if you knew me, then why haven't you said anything?"

I walk over to a coffin, I feel energy coming off of it. I opened it and smiled.

"I'm a little busy right now. Memory lane will have to wait." Nik walks over to Rebekah, looking down at her.

"What the hell is going on? Answer me." He demanded.

I roll my eyes, this story is going to bore me. I lay on the ground next to the coffin and close my eyes, ignoring the odd looks that I'm receiving from Stefan.

"Hello Darling, it's been a while."

I reach over to kiss him on the cheek. "I apologize. The past few days have been a bit crazy."

He sits down, gesturing me to as well. I do as told and get comfortable resting on his chest. He starts to pet my head, relaxing me.

"I missed you." I tell him.

"And I, you." He kisses my head.

"What, no funny or flirty remarks?"I look up at him.

He shakes his head. "It's gotten worse, I can't possibly think about how bad Finn's pain is."

"I promise, it won't be much longer, a month at most."

He sighs happily. "I'll get to see you in person. I cannot wait."

Our world shakes. I groan. "It's probably Nik."

He helps me stand up. "I will see you soon."

I smile at him and close my eyes.

When I open them, I am laying in the cold cement of the warehouse.

"Who in the bloody hell are you? And what are you doing next to my daggered brother?"

I see blood hair and a flapper dress. I quickly stand up. "Rebekah!"

She grabs my throat. "I will ask you one more time. Who are you?"

"Your brother's soulmate." I gasp.

She lets go and looks me over.

"Victoria, and I already know your name."

"You're prettier than I thought you'd be. Kol never let me see the image of you that he received from the spell."

"Oh, thank you." I say shocked, her attitude changed up fast.

"Where is Nik at?"

I look at my watch. "Should be here any minute."

She smiles. "Want to mess with him?"

I raise an eyebrow. "Of course I do, what do you have in mind?"

"Rebekah, it's your big brother. Come out, come out wherever you are." He calls out.

I speed behind him, as he turns around Bekah does the same thing. When he turns once more, she stabs him with the dagger that was in her chest just hours earlier.

I stand next to her. I laugh. "You should have seen the look on your face."

He looks at us in annoyance. "You knew that wouldn't kill me."

"Yeah but I was hoping it would hurt more."

"I understand that you are upset with me, Rebekah. So I'm going to let that go. Just this once. I brought you a little peace offering. Come in." He says.

Stefan walks in. "Stefan."

He looks confused until Nik walks over and compels him. "Now you remember."

He remembers everything and gasps before looking at Rebekah in shock.

Nik looks back at her too. "And now the reason you're here. Gloria tells me you know how to contact the original witch."

Oh shit. I knew I forgot something.
