Vicki's POV

Rebekah is in the dressing room trying on a dress that Stefan picked out. I start looking through the racks to find more suitable clothes for her.

I found a cute top and some shorts for her. I hold it while I look for more clothes.

"There has to be more to this dress."

"There's not." I say.

She steps out in an almost transparent short black dress.

"Wow you look hot, Bekah."

She smiles at the compliment before scowling at the boys. "You know, I got dirty looks for wearing trousers."

"You wore trousers so that women today could wear nothing."

I walk up to her with other choices. "Here, these are more your style."

She takes them gladly and steps back into the dressing room. I turn back to the boys.

"You're not helping. You're just drinking and making unnecessary comments."

They shrug before drinking some more. I roll my eyes.

Stefan leaves while Nik stays and pays for our clothes.

I find Rebekah a bunch of outfits for the 21st century and get a few things for myself. And of course Nik payed for everything, much to his displeasure.

Finally, we've gone to Gloria's again.

We are sitting at the bar right now, waiting for Stefan.

"Now sugar, tell me why y'all are here again."

"The doppelgänger is alive and that is why Nik can't make hybrids. He wants you to confirm what I've already told him."

She looks at him with a raised eyebrow. "You don't believe her."

"I want a second opinion."

She sighs, holding out one hand for Rebekah and the other for me. We each take ahold of her. She tries to find the necklace.

"The doppelgänger has it."

"Let's see."

Just as she tries again, Stefan walks in.

"You left us." Bekah pouted.

"Yeah, sorry. Retail therapy was making my head explode."

"Tell me about it." Nik scoffs. I give him a look before closing my eyes again and concentrating.

"What are they doing?"

"Looking for the necklace."

We try to zero in on the necklace. "I can sense something."

"Me too." I feel the pull.

I see the necklace. There's a vision of Elena with Caroline and Bonnie. They are talking about Stefan. I know Gloria sees this too.

We open our eyes and let go.

"I found it."

"So where is it?" Nik asks, keeping up appearances since Stefan is here.

"It doesn't work like that, doll. I get images. There's a girl with her friends... I need more time."

"Go ahead."

"Not with you harshing up my juju." She shoos at us with her hands.

"Hey, you know. Maybe we should come back later. I'm hungry anyway, I'll let you pick who we eat."

The three of us share a look before following Stefan out of the bar.

We find some people to snack on. I get two since I've been extra hungry lately.

I don't pay attention as I drain my second person. I focus on the taste rather than their pulse. It's amazing, I can feel the energy returning to my body.

At this point, they've passed out due to blood loss and it's only a matter of time until they are dead.

I take my time, savoring the taste. I have to control myself, not wanting to waste it.

Their pulse gets slower and slower until it disappears completely. I gulp the last few mouthfuls and lift my head from their neck.

I wipe the sides of my mouth before licking my fingers.

I look around and Stefan is gone.

"Where did he go?"

"To write a name on a wall."

"Are you stupid? He knows that Gloria saw Elena in that vision. He's going to kill her."

He rolls his eyes but stands up and waits for us to follow. We do.

When we reach the bar, Stefan is about to stab Gloria. I speed over and snap his neck before he can.

I face Nik with an "I told you so" look.

"Let's get the fuck out of this town, shall we?"
