"Why my grandma thought you was a hood nigga?" I mentioned with a laugh.

"Real shit?"  He asked, with a deep chuckle.

"Yes, she swear she be knowing."

"Don't do her like that.Tell her I'm just one sick ass nigga tryn' survive." He joked.

"That's not even funny, Nasir." I smacked my lips and glared at him.

He chuckled. "If I'ma die soon I might as well laugh 'bout it. And stop allat calling me by my middle name shit."

I kissed my teeth."Boy, ain't nobody out here looking for you so if I wanna say, Kevin Nasir Cameron, I'ma say it."

I sat down at my vanity and propped my phone up. I was getting dressed so I could take some pictures and go out with my friends.

I plugged my curling irons in and after that I took my bonnet off and then unwrapped my scarf. I ran my fingers through my hair.

I grabbed my weave brush and started brushing the rest of the tangles that were left out. I felt Kevin's eyes on me and I made eye contact with him. "What?"

"Nun, just tryna figure out why you getting cute. I hope it's not for a dirty ass lil' nigga." He muttered the last part.

I chuckled, taking a section of my hair and wrapped it around the barrel of the curling iron.

"Boy bye." I waved him off. "Im getting cute for myself."

I released the curl from the barrel and went on to do the same thing to another section of my hair.

"You better had." I heard him mutter but I chose to play like I didn't.

"What?" I asked, trying to hold back the grin on my face as I pinned another section of hair up.

"You heard me." He propped his phone up.

Sekani poked his head in the camera and waved. "Hey, Kiki."

I chuckled at the nickname he called me. No one called me that since I was a little kid.

"Hey, Kani. What you doing?" I asked, already knowing the answer.

I just wanted to make conversation with him. Kids like when you're interested in what they're doing. Well I think they do. I don't know foreal.

"I'm playing duos with Kev. He corny ashit at this game." He said before putting his focus back on the tv screen. "He a pussy."

My brows furrowed at his language but I quickly fixed my face. I hate when little kids be cursing. It just wasn't how I was raised so it was abnormal to me. Kids really just be cursing to curse.

Not my child to judge so ima mind mine.

"Oh, that's cool. I can tell Kevin corny. I probably can beat him too." I teased.

I grabbed a section of my hair and began curling it.

"Who?" He jerked his head back and looked at the camera. "You can't be talking about me."

"Mhm, I am."

"Hell no." He smacked his lips. "I just be letting Sekani talk shit. He know I'm better than him and you don't even play Fortnite."

"You don't know what I'm good at."

"Hop on right now then, Ki."

I smacked my lips. Of course he was going to say that. I looked at my play station sitting on my dresser, unhooked. I was struggling with plugging the HDMI cord in because of the way my tv was mounted so I just gave up on it.

"My game not even hooked up right now, Kevin. If it was I would still beat you though."

"Yeah, okay. You ass." The sound of the sticks moving aggressively against the controller could be heard.

"What the fuck Sekani. All these niggas on me. Come help me." He said irritatedly.

I laughed and continued to curl my hair.

I was laying down in the hospital bed while watching tiktok. I was waiting on Ki to text me back. This girl got me whipped. She got me waiting on her to text a nigga back and shit.

She had got ready and stuff while on the phone with me and before she hung up she said she would text me so that's what I was waiting on.

I was playing the game with Sekani but I started feeling dizzy after the doctors came and gave me some more antibiotics.

They said the antibiotics were helping with the rejection but it really was a hit or miss with my condition. I wasn't good enough to go home but I wasn't in critical condition.

Im thankful for that though because I've been worse.

I scrolled on a tiktok and was about to scroll pass when I saw Kiana's familiar face. She was lip singing to a song by PARTYNEXTDOOR. I liked it and kept scrolling through tiktok.

A message from Kiana popped up and I got hype, almost clicking on it too thirsty. I didn't wanna seem like I was waiting on a text from her so I waited a minute or two before texting her back.

She sent me pictures of her outfits and I looked through em, replying to each and every one of them, telling her how beautiful she is.

She bad and she know it.

I went over to Instagram and liked and commented on her post before reposting it. It took me a minute to figure out what to comment but I ended up putting a black heart, sumn calm.
