Ang sayawan

The time has come.

Nagising akong mayroong malaking box sa rattan table katapat ng kamang hinihigaan ko. I was so sure of what's inside the box. Sigurado akong dress iyon galing kay Raius.

Mamaya na gaganapin ang sayawan matapos ang isang linggong fiesta sa Tagbakan.

It made everyone excited. Ang sayawan ang pinakahihintay ng lahat lalo na ni Jutay.

Dali - dali akong bumaba at tinakbo ang pagitan ng kama at mesa. I excitedly opened the box.

Bumungad nga ang isang itim na dress. It was a black, backless dress with all the specifications I want from Versace. May kasama pa itong Tiffany & Co. Necklace and a Gianvito Rossi pump of my size.

Gosh, my insides were screaming of happiness.

I was smiling from ear to ear. He got me what I really wanted.

Ini-lock ko ang pinto, hinubad ko ang pantulog na suot. Isinukat ko ang damit na binili ni Raius. The dress perfectly fits my curve. Niyakap nito ang hubog ng aking katawan. My breasts perked, the back part was showing my flawless skin.

Umikot ako suot ang damit. I did a little dance for my imaginary audience. Hindi lang naman ako hasa sa pag-arte, marunong din akong sumayaw.

Mayroon kaming mall shows at guestings kung saan hinihingian ng sample talent ang mga artista. Ayoko namang mapahiya sa tao.

I was over the moon. Hindi ako binigo ni Raius sa napili niyang damit.

Mabilis ko itong hinubad at ibinalik sa malaking box. Tumuon ang atensyon ko sa nahulog na card kasama ng box. I picked it up and read such a horrible handwriting. Gwapo lang, pangit namn ng sulat.

Gosh, I was having a hard time creating my look with limited equipment. Wala rin naman ako halos magawa sa buhok ko dahil maiksi ito. Goodness, napilit ko siyang bilhan ako ng makeup kit. He was so against with it as it wasn't a necessity. It is!

Seeing myself in the mirror reminded me of my old life in the city. Oh, it just sank in to me how I missed doing the things I love the most. My life here is different from the life I left.

And it's not something bad.

Not all changes were bad.

Sa probinsya, may kalayaan akong mamuhay sa paraang gusto ko. The bashers couldn't take my peace of mind.

Ironically, I was able to find tranquility on the hacienda belonging to the clan of my on-screen rival. I'm sure Lope Tatiana is happy to take my place in the industry. Napairap ako sa ere.

I don't know... I don't know if I want to go back. I'm getting comfortable here.

I got burned by things I loved, and I was healing faraway from that place. Right now, I'm happy with how things turned out. I'm happy to meet new people. I'm happy to see things in a new perspective.
