I made sure I was the first one he saw when he opened his eyes in the morning.

Pinagmasdan ko ang kanyang mukha habang taimtim na natutulog. Mas lalo kong na-appreciate ang features ni Raius sa pagtagal ng paninitig ko. His lips were slightly opened. He's looking more handsome every now and then.

Maybe, because I am paying more attention to the smallest detail. I felt like a creep staring at him while he's asleep. Nakadagan pa ang aking mukha sa kanyang dibdib. We are now using one bed in the small hut.

Wala naman iyon sa akin. It was a big deal to him. Matagal siya bago pumayag sa kagustuhan ko. Duh, he's my boyfriend now.

It happened so fast... in a blink of an eye. I wasn't regretting any bit of it.

Hindi ko iyon pinag-isipan ng mabuti, I just wanted the man. Gusto ko siya. Gusto ko siyang mapasaakin.

Raius is a breath of fresh air among the guys I dated back in the city. Medyo old-fashioned siya, but his beliefs don't interfere with mine. Maliban na lang sa usapang pera...

He doesn't want to buy anything expensive and he isn't careless when it comes to money. His spending is needed to be justified.

Paghihirapan muna niya ang isang bagay bago siya gumastos ng malaki. Pinagtrabahuhan niya pa iyong outfit ko noong sayawan kahit kaya naman niyang bilhin ng hindi nagbabanat ng buto.

He's strict with money, but he never denied me of my wants.

After sayawan and we made it official, mas lalong sumaya ang party. We were invited by his cousins for some drinks. Others went home already, most people stayed for the drinks of after-party.

Inihanda nina Teryo ang tuba. According to them, it is a coconut wine. It tasted a bit weird, but it grew on me overtime. Lango ako sa alak, hindi naman masyadong uminom si Raius. Tamang tumikim lang siya.

It was all fun and enjoyed myself the whole night... may boyfriend pa akong inuwi --- siya pala ang nag-uwi sa akin. I was so intoxicated to walk by myself. Kinarga na ako ni Raius patungong sasakyan.

The last time I drowned myself with alcohol were months ago when I was in my lowest state. And I didn't know how I was able to find shelter.

It was different now.

Tuwing naaalala ko ang lahat ng ganap sa sayawan, napapangiti pa rin ako. I just created good memories with people I barely knew. Hanggang pagbalik ko ng siyudad, dadalhin ko iyon. I would cherish those memories.

Bumalik ako sa realidad nang marinig ko ang namamaos na boses.

"Hey... good morning. You're early. Gutom ka na ba?"

Bahagyang nanlaki ang kanyang mata. Naupo naman ako ng maayos para makagalaw siya. He sat on the bed.

Since we occupied the same bed at night, he slept really well. Maraming pagkakataong una ako sa kanyang bumangon nitong mga nakaraang araw. He was probably comfortable with my presence. Of course, that's because I'm such a beauty.

Pinunlaan ko siya ng isang halik sa labi bilang pambati. His eyes widened even more as I drew back. Inirapan ko siya.

The thing about Raius... he's slow.

Kung hindi pa ako ang unang aaksyon, walang mangyayari. Masyado siyang magalang pagdating sa akin... para siyang virgin.

But one thing refreshing, he would ask for consent. It shouldn't be something rare, but most of the guys I dated thought they owned me and my body the moment they became my boyfriend.
