Losing control (Hiccup x Reader)

Chapter 44

This power. You'd never felt it so strongly before, it was like a new level of intensity had unlocked inside. Hiccup watches in amazement as you shoot a deep line clean down the middle of the deck, ship looked like it was almost split in half.
He ducks down and kicks the man holding onto him to the floor.
Another runs over, as Hiccup spins around the man is flying into the side of the dock, slamming face first. He winces as a loud crunch fills his ears.
"Awhh man! You started without us!" A familiar voice complains, Hiccup looks up to see the twins approaching "you alright down there?" Tuffnut asks, locking his feet together around his dragons neck, spinning down so he was hanging upside down "need a...hand?" He points to Hiccup's tied up hands and grins, the chief rolls his eyes "very funny."
"I know, I know! Save your applauses."
Tuffnut lowers down more and cuts the rope.

The gang hover around the ship, Toothless lands beside Hiccup, Astrid jumps off and runs over to Stormfly.
Toothless nuzzles against Hiccup happily "glad to see you too. Bud." He mounts his dragon and the two of them take off.
He spots your glowing light and glides lower, Spear and Ghost close behind. As you shoot at another trapper, two more run up behind you, Spear roars angrily and picks one of them up while ghost smacks the other with her tail. Spear flings the trapper out into the ocean then dives back down to you. He lands and curls his body around you roaring.
He arches his back, snarling at the men. "Catch those dragons, all of them! Kill the riders if you have too!" Slayer screams "and her!" He points to you "she's mine."

Astrid, Snotlout and Fishlegs jump off their dragons and start fighting with the trappers, one of them pushes Snotlout to the ground knocking his sword from his hand. You run over and shoot trapper, knocking him away. Snotlout looks back at the man then to you, pointing at you with wide eyes, you sigh and tug on his collar gesturing him to stand up "keep going." You pat his back and run off. He stands there, mouth hanging open.

You take a moment to catch your breath, someone grabs onto you from behind, tieing a cloth around your mouth preventing you from screaming.
You squirm against the grip but whoever had you was much stronger.
You get dragged towards the gang, they hold their weapons up "drop them!" Slayer shouts, pressing a dagger up to your neck. "It's over, Slayer." Hiccup says, stepping forward "let her go."
"It's never going to be over!" Slayer roars, more of his men appear, pointing their weapons to the gang.
"Give me your dragons, or I'll paint the floor with her blood." He presses the blade harder against your neck, one more move and it would slice clean through your skin.
You freeze in fear, there had to be some way to get out of this. Any sudden movements could result in you bleeding out.

Hiccup holds his arms out "back down, guys." They lower their weapons and take a few steps back. He watches Slayers arm, waiting for the perfect moment.
"Cage them up!" Slayer commands, the trappers run over to the dragons, they don't fight back as their snouts are tied up and they start to get pulled away.
"There, you've got what you want. Now let her go." Hiccup demands, Slayer scoffs at him "not so fast. I think I'll keep her." He lowers the dagger, moving his arm to wrap it around your neck "she could be very useful to me...how long has she had this ability, hm?"
"What's he talking about?" Astrid asks, Hiccup holds his hand up, silencing her "Slayer, you wanted the dragons and you've got them. That's it."
"And I've changed my mind. She's staying with me, so you all better hop onto that boat and disappear forever. And if you ever try to find us, I will kill her."
He tightens his grasp around your neck, cutting your airways slightly.
"You really have no idea, do you?" Hiccup says, crossing his arms Slayer narrows his eyes.

You'd had enough, despite your exhaustion you focus what was left of your energy. A bright light starts to illuminate around you again, the boat starts to shake as your ability builds up inside of you.
Everyone stares at you with wide eyes watching you let out a muffled scream as point your palms to the floor and blast through, the light almost binding as you, Slayer and his men crash down into the shallow waters, the ship starts to collapse.
The trappers further back with the dragons drop the chains and run to the edge of the dock, jumping off. The dragons all fly up.
