Reze reached for her pin, threading her pointer finger through it as she slowly walked towards the building. Nomo stared her down as two devil hunters came up behind him, walking past him to face Reze.
"Katou, Tanabe, If you kill 'er, the tab's on me tonight. Treat her like you would a devil. She ain't human." Nomo ordered.
"I'll leave the rest to you." Aki said, bowing his head to Nomo as he picked up Denji's corpse.
"You owe me one, now go." Nomo said, waving him off without turning to face him.
Katou and Tanabe bit hard into their wrists and pointed at Reze, the blood from their wounds dripping onto the ground. Reze raised an eyebrow at them, before noticing a small trickle of blood coming from her nose. She coughed, a small spray of blood flying from her mouth as she staggered.
"Blood...?" She wheezed.
"There's mold growing in her heart and intestines." Katou said.
"She coughed up blood... looks like it worked." Nomo noted.
"Even if she drinks blood and regenerates, the mold won't go away. It's just a matter of stalling her out now."
Reze smirked, straightening her form and staring down at the hunters. She yanked her pin, quickly using her other hand and smacking the side of her neck.
Boom!
The area around her head was consumed in a small explosion. An object flew out of the flame, bouncing and rolling a few feet away from Reze. The smoke cleared to reveal her severed head.
"S-Suicide?" Tanabe muttered.
"Can you grow some mold on her brain?" Nomo asked.
"It only works on living things."
The three devil hunters were immediately back on guard as Reze's body began to move. Slowly, the body staggered to Reze's head, grabbing the head by its dark purple hair and lifting it up. The hunters couldn't react as the body suddenly threw Reze's head forward, sending it flying through a window and landing in a group of hunters.
"Wha-"
"Boom." Reze's head said as-
BOOM!!!
The building was rocked by an internal explosion, the nearby windows shattering from the force. The dust slowly settled, and the hunters let out a collective cry at the sight of Reze in her devil form, clinging to the ceiling, the arm of one of their own lodged in her metal maw.
"DEVIL!!! IT'S A DEVIL!!!" Someone screamed as Reze tore her way through the building, the sound of fire and explosions following her.
"It went right! Don't let it get close to Aki!" Nomo yelled.
"NOMO, TWELVE O'CLOCK!!!" Tanabe yelled, and Nomo whipped around to find Reze's headless body running straight at him.
"KON!!!" Nomo plunged his hand downwards with the sign of the Fox. The Fox Devil's paw materialized, flying towards the body. Reze's body leaped, clearing straight over the paw as it slammed into the ground. The body ran up the arm, leaping to collide with Nomo.
"NO YOU DON'T!!!" (Y/N), bathed in his own blood, flew forward, tackling the body out of the air before it could hit Nomo. The two bodies slammed into the ground as Nomo looked to them.
"HIT THE DECK!!!" (Y/N) roared to Nomo as-
BOOM!!!
Nomo could barely raise his arm to guard and jump back as the corpse exploded, bathing (Y/N) in fire.
