Aurora's POV

I rolled my eyes. "If you don't take me back, then I will go on my own." I stated, determined.

"We are so far from the city. And there is no houses closer here. So you don't have another choice, but stay here with me." He stated firmly.

I heaved a loud sigh in irritation and told him dryly. "I have to inform my mother; she will be worried if I don't go back."

"I will send her a message informing her that you will stay with your close friend." He said nonchalantly, emphasizing the word-close.

I clenched my fist and sat down on the couch angrily as I understood he wouldn't change his mind. Liam grinned boyishly as he pulled my phone out of his pocked and turned it on. It started buzzing again and again.

"It is done." He informed me after sending a message to my mother and turned off my phone.

I threw my bag onto my bed angrily as soon as I walked into my bedroom. Liam dropped me off my house and left a few minutes ago. Fortunately, my mother wasn't home; she took Luke to the park every Sunday morning.

I was still mad at Liam; I was boiling with rage. That devil fucking kidnapped me.

Even if it wasn't enough, he kept flirting and trying to seduce me. However, I didn't give him that satisfaction. As soon as we finished having dinner, I went to the bedroom and locked the door, but it amused that jerk; he even told me that I was afraid that I couldn't control myself, and I would end up in his arms.

What was he thinking he was?!

But Aurora, he was somehow right.

You were afraid that he would manage to seduce you.

Not me, but my traitorous body!

I heaved a loud sigh, ruffling my hair, and grabbed my phone, biting my lower lip nervously. I turned on my phone, thinking what I would tell Jude. I felt bad because of ditching him. All this was because of the devil with an angelic smile.

I pursed my lips together anxiously and called Jude. I didn't have another choice, but lie to him. As soon as he picked up the phone, he asked me if I was fine. He looked so worried. It made me feel guiltier.

I assured him that I was fine and lied to him saying my close friend had an accident, and I went to the hospital. So I forget to call him, and my phone was died; so because of it, it was turned off.

Jude told me that he understood me and wished that my friend would get well soon. I felt bad lying to him, but I couldn't tell him that Liam kidnapped me because he didn't want me to go on a date with you.

I was working in my office when someone knocked on the door. The door opened and Jude walked in. He greeted me warmly, giving me a bright smile.

"How is your friend?" He asked politely.

"Umm... She is fine." I mumbled nervously and bit my lower lip.

"Are you free tomorrow evening?" He asked hopefully.

When I wanted to reply, they door opened wide, and the devil with an angelic face walked into my office. His expression changed immediately as he saw Jude.

"Good morning, Mr. Anderson." Jude greeted him politely.

Liam nodded with a stoic expression on his face and approached me.

"Could you rest yesterday?" Liam asked me arrogantly as he rested his hand on my lower back.

I gave him a warning look and pulled back slightly. Meanwhile, Jude was staring at Liam in confusion.
