Static stood up from his spot on the ground, stared at Nightwing for a few moments, and then proceeded to do the best thing you can do when confronted by reality.
He ran.

I don't use that lightly, he straight up booked it down the hallway towards his original room, while Nightwing let out a groan.

"They always run" He sighed.

He was about to take off after him, but an intense feeling of bloodlust from the side and slightly behind him stopped his movement.

Quickly, Nightwing withdrew his two specialized batons and brought them together, stopping a sword slash that hit with considerable force.

As the Hero pushed back against the force and sent the other person backwards, he found himself staring at Tahlia Al Ghul.

"You" She spoke with a bit of venom.
"Correct, me" The Hero responded while getting into a stance.

Behind the assassin, Nightwing noticed the wall push back into place and hide some sort of tunnel.

"You're more of a rat than I thought, I mean you're literally living in someone else's walls"

Tahlia seemed annoyed by the comment, but instead let out a smile that held no joy behind it.

"Are you sure you want to be insulting me right now?"
"What are y-.........why?"

The Hero had realized what had happened as he could no longer hear the footsteps of a running Static.

"A request of my father"
"What would someone like Ra's want with Static?"
"It's not what he wants with him, it's who he doesn't want him to interact with"

At her words, Nightwing almost turned his body around to run after Static, but the drawing of another sword stopped him in his tracks.

'Godamnit Bruce, why do all the women you sleep with turn out to be crazy or some sort of secret assassin' He could only think as he prepared himself for what came next.

Static sprinted without looking back. He was going so fast in fact, that when he tried to stop himself so that he could run into your guys' room, he slid a little and had to grab onto the doorway as to not go tumbling past it.

'I don't know if he's still behind me!'

Static ran and jumped through the window that had no glass due to your action from earlier.

He focused on only one thing in his vision, that being his Saucer which was in the hands of a person he didn't care to notice.

A line of energy shot out from Static's feet, connected to the Saucer, and retracted back towards, connecting to the bottom of his feet all in a second's notice.

Instantly, a feeling of relief washed over the former Hero as he hovered over the shards of glass from earlier, not to mention the unconscious comfort he got from standing on metallic object.

"Hey"
"Sup"

Static didn't even look in the direction where the voice came from, and instead savoured the assurance he felt.

Then reality kicked in, and I mean literally because right as Static turned his head to look where the voice came from he instead met a kick to the side of his face.

He was sent flying off his Saucer and tumbled to the ground below, the sense of security he had just gained vanishing.

Forcing himself back up to his feet, Static found his attacker to be Black Canary.

'You've got to be kidding me'

"I'm always fighting girls, am I unconsciously sexist?"
"That's.........what did he do to you Static?"
