anniversary

tonight was me and damiano's anniversary and i had a lot planned, starting with making carbonara, which just so happened to be one of damiano's favorites,

"hi baby, happy anniversary!" damiano chirped as he entered the kitchen, sitting down at the counter,

"holy fuck dami you scared the crap out of me, happy anniversary!" i giggled looking up from the pasta on the stove,

"mmm.. sorry.." he said hopping up from his seat and walking over to me..

"what are you making bambina?" he said massaging my shoulders.

"shh it's a surprise.." i said putting a finger to his lips,

"really? well in that case i'll just have to guess and it smells a lot like carbonara!" he gave me a cheeky smile and kissed behind my ear,

"well it's not carbonara, you'll just have to wait and see what it is.." damiano chuckled as i shooed him out of the kitchen.

*time skip*

"baby dinner's ready," i said walking into the living room, where i found damiano asleep on the couch, i knelt down next to him and rubbed his chest slowly "baby boy wake up it's time to eat,"

he groaned and slowly lifted himself off the couch, we walked into the kitchen together and damiano lit up at the sight of the bowls laid out on the counter, "i knew it!" he yelped out, i giggled and we sat down to eat,

"how was your day?" i said between bites,

"it was good, a bit boring until now," he smiled,

"oh really?" i said also grinning,

"yeah," he said and leaned into kiss me before standing up to do the dishes, 

"bambino you don't have to do the dishes, i can do it," i said following behind him trying to take the dishes from his hands.

"bella you worked so hard to make this i can handle the dishes, relax for a bit!"

"ok.. if you're sure.." i said hesitating, not yet backing up from the sink.. 

"y/n i've got it, go chill out for a bit!"

"actually this is good.. i can set up for the next thing i've got for you!"

"bambina.. this is our anniversary.. let me take care of you for once.."

"no trust me love, you gotta let me give you this one"

"fine.. but then it's my turn!" he yelled as i left the room,

i ran up to our bedroom and turned off all the lights, turning on the dreamy little lamps we had and some fairy lights,

in front of our bed there was a blank wall, i set up a projector connected to my laptop and scrolled through netflix to grey's anatomy, me and damiano's current binge.

"baby where'd you go?" damiano yelled up from the kitchen,

"in the bedroom!" i chirped back, soon after damiano entered with our cat legolas in one hand, a small gift bag in the other..

"this is so pretty bambina.." he said as legolas jumped out of his arms onto the bed next to me,

"i've got a little present for you!" he said sitting down next to me, taking me into his arms,

"i've got one for you too!" i said reaching into my night table and pulling out a small box

"open at the same time?" he said smiling, i shook my head,

"no i want you to open that first!" i giggled,

"okay then.." he said cautiously..

"don't worry it's not a snake!" i teased, he promptly opened the box to reveal the shiny rolex i had bought him.

"bambina this is gorgeous.." he said pulling it out of the box, examining it.. "open yours" he said nudging me,

i pulled a small teal box out of the bag and opened it to reveal a beautiful tiffany's tennis bracelet.

"dam.. this is so pretty.. how did you know i've been eyeing one of these for so long.." i said setting it down on my jewelry holder on my night table..

"magic!" he chuckled, i looked up at him,

"seriously dam, how did you know?"

"vic told me," he kissed the top of my head and pressed play on my laptop, starting the episode of greys.

*time skip*

"bambina" i barely heard damiano whisper as my heavy eyelids shut

"mmm.. what" i said not moving..

"you're on the verge of falling asleep, let's get up and get ready for bed hmm..?"

"ok.." i said lazily throwing the blankets up off myself and stumbling into the bathroom,

"you know what baby i'm gonna run us a bath, you can go back and sleep for a few minutes.." he said starting to fill up the bath, i just sat down on the floor having no energy to go back to the bedroom.

i watched him fill up the bath, putting in bubbles and bath salts, "get in the bath, i'll be right back," he smirked and left the room,

when he came back he was holding two wine glasses and a bottle of my favorite red wine,

"damiano david? drinking alcohol? the madness!" i joked as he got into the bath sitting opposite me,

"oh shit i don't have a corkscrew.." he said and i took the bottle from him, hit it on the side of the bath once to with the cork promptly flew out

"where did you learn that little move?" he said as i poured the wine out into our respective glasses

"you learn a lot when you share an apartment with 5 college guys.." i shrugged,

we both laughed and slowly sipped on our wine before the water got tepid and the bubbles started to melt away, damiano stepped out of the bath and grabbed fresh towels for the both of us as i started to drain the bath and returned the cork to it's place in the half empty bottle of wine,

after we dried off and brushed our teeth and what not i took down all the fairy lights and put away the projector as damiano rounded up all of our pets and cracked open the windows, after all the madness we finally calmed down and climbed into bed together, 

damiano slowly rubbed my back as i was about to fall asleep,

"bambina do you think we ought to have more nights like this, no crazy, no fame, just us being a normal couple?" he asked now moving his hands to play with my hair,

"probably.." i mumbled and turned around to face him,

"yeah i think so, what about once or twice a month..." he suggested

"bambina?" he called out after getting no response,

soft snores exited my body as i relaxed deeper into the comfort and warmth of damiano's chest,

"buonanotte bella.. happy anniversary.." he said pulling my body closer to him,

guess what? i still have one more part to post tonight, according to my new posting schedule!

also i didn't have energy to proofread this so sorry if there are any errors, i'll fix it tomorrow,
