Wei Wuxian knew that he had to tell Yanli and Jiang Cheng. He was going to try and do this calmly but the moment he stepped inside the Jiang Sect, he felt a chill run down his spine. He tightened his grip as he held Wangji's hand for support. Yanli was leading them inside, again taking all the weapons out of the room before they started to talk about things.

"I found out why your mother never wanted me to study in the library here," Wuxian said calmly.

"Why?" Yanli asked.

"We found out that there was a book hidden in your library about a hidden location within the burial mounds. Turns out, it lead to my mother's real home and I found my grandmother," Wuxian explained.

"This isn't a joke this time, is it?" Jiang Cheng asked.

"No, and Lan Zhan can place a truth spell on me if you want," Wuxian said.

"Not that I do not believe you would lie to use, I would feel more comfortable if you did use the spell," Jiang Cheng said.

Wuxian looked at Wangji, "It's alright, just make the punishment light," Wuxian said.

Wangji nodded and placed the spell on Wuxian, "Okay," Wangji said.

"Baoshan exists," Wuxian said and the spell did not punish him, "she told me that when she heard her daughter passed away, she investigated why she died...it turns out, Jiang Cheng's dogs weren't taken away just because I was afraid of them..there was another reason for that."

"What do you know?" Jiang Cheng asked concerned.

"Did your dogs go missing at all before I came or did your parents borrow them?" Wuxian asked.

"I think I remember Mother asking if she could have them for a day. Being a child I didn't think anything about it," Jiang Cheng said.

Wuxian huffed, "your dogs were the same dogs that killed my parents. Your father knew this and as I was afraid of dogs, he used it as an excuse to get rid of them. I bet he thought I'd recognize them as I witnessed dogs tearing my parents apart," Wuxian said.

"The Wei Family bloodline had a secret that your parents knew, and they threatened my father that if he was to ever leave, they would spread that secret and he would be killed. They even threatened my mother to stay away from him. In the end, the two fought your parents in order to secede the sect and have their secrets remain secrets. Your parents now have me questioning if they wanted me here because they, specifically Jiang Fengmian, never saw me as a person. I became a tool for them so they had someone to protect their own children. If that was their goal, it worked, as I gave up everything for this damn sect," Wuxian said, "so tell me, did you two know of this or did you not? If you are pissed at me, you have no right, as I am the one who should be pissed at you. I could even sue you for compensation but I'm waiting as I have doubts."

"A'Xian, I swear to you, I did not know this," Yanli said, "if I had known, I would have gotten you out of here."

"But you knew that I was being abused, even Jiang Cheng knew," Wuxian said, "no one did anything then."

"Do you really expect A'Jie and me to stand up to our parents like that?" Jiang Cheng asked, "they never listened to me anyway."

"This sect....are all the sects the same fucking way?" Wuxian asked standing up, "the Jiang sect, the Jin Sect...." He then looked at Wangji, "the Lan Sect...I feel like the only sect that has yet to really screw me over is the Nie Sect."

"Wei Ying, I was trying my best," Wangji said, "you know that."

"I trust you, Lan Zhan, you are the only one I can trust nowadays," Wuxian said and looked at Jiang Cheng and Yanli, "I hope you are happy. If your parents were alive today, today would be their death day."

Yanli and Jiang Cheng looked at him in shock and watched Wangji and Wuxian teleport out of the room. They then ended up directly by the portal to Baoshan's. They then entered, and Wuxian, being so exhausted, passed out. Wangji carried as Baoshan led them to their room. After he situated Wuxian. Wangji explained to Baoshan what has been happening with Wuxian.

"My poor grandson," Baoshan said, "how many pieces must you keep breaking into."

"I'm not sure if I can pick them all up in my own," Wangji said, "Wei Ying has no desire to handle the sect anymore and handed it over to Wei Qing. He is giving up and it is scaring me."

"He needs time," Baoshan said, "I will help out with Wei Qing with the sect. I want you and A'Ying to rest here for a now, maybe even explore the area. You two need to get away from the rest of the world for a while."

Wangji nodded, "thank you," he said, "I just don't want to lose him. Everyone also knows that if they really wanted him dead, they can used me to do it. As we are bonded, we both die together. I want him to be happy."

Baoshan smiled at him, "I know, just rest up here. I will help you. Maybe even train you both for a while. I'm sure that will help."

"That sounds nice," Wangji said.

"Get some rest," Baoshan said and left them.

Wangji sighed as he removed Wuxian's robes, leaving him in his trousers. He then removed his own robes before laying down beside him and pulled him close. Wuxian let out a quiet moan as he snuggled into Wangji. It's been quite some time, but as Wangji laid there holding his husband, tears began to fall from his eyes. He worried for Wuxian more that anything. He didn't like seeing him suffer like this and all Wangji could do was comfort him. He wished he could do so much more. Kissing his forehead, Wangji laid there crying silently for a long time before he fell asleep.
