"There we are now. Feel better?" Crowley asked as Eden rubbed her freshly healed side. "Yeah." The cricket ball had struck the side where she had been wounded nearly a year ago. The injury wasn't serious, just a bruise, albeit a very painful one."I better get back to the others before they start to get worried." As Eden rose to her feet, Crowley saw that she was still clutching her side, as if she was still in pain.
"Are you alright Queenie?"
"I'm fine Dad! Stop being a worrywort!" The bedroom door opened and in stepped Gabriel with a still crying Neil.
"What's wrong with Neil?" Eden gasped, instinctively reaching out and cradling little Neil in her arms. The baby calmed within moments. "Come on love, why don’t we go lie down for a bit."
Eden walked back to bed, her exhaustion more apparent.
Gabriel quickly passed Terri to Crowley. "I'm going to make a call."
