"Is this really necessary?" Eden asked as Bella finished her examination. Eden wasn’t entirely surprised that her husband had called the young doctor.
But Gabriel ignored her as he followed Dr. Bella Young out into the hallway.
"How is she?" Gabriel demanded.
"She's exhausted, Gabriel. All she needs is a couple weeks of undisturbed sleep."
"And Neil?"
"He's fine, Gabriel." Bella answered patiently. "Being with his mum helped him get over the shock rather quickly. His sisters are fine too. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a basket of cranberries waiting for me downstairs."
Gabriel thanked her and returned to the master bedroom where he found Kokabiela, Neil and Terri curled up next to their mother fast asleep and to his relief, so was Eden.
