Scarlett’s POV
I have been moved to a private room since the press somehow got wind of what happened and footage of the last 15 minutes of the fight before the MPs came. I am sitting in this waitting room  watching the TV which has it’s volume off, I just watch as you can see Robert holding me back with Chris unconcintious on the ground. “Ma’am I don’t think you should be watching that it’s bad enough you had to live it.” A nurse says to me as she turns the TV off. “Do you have any news?” Robert asks from beside me. The whole cast is here waiting for news on Louri’s condition. “Yes she is out of surgery she is being given a private room since she is a Captain and this is a military hospital. But only 3 visitors at a time." The nurse informs us. “Thank you so much can you take us to her please?” Chris says. Chris, Robert, and I make our way to the room in silence. “I called Lisa while you were still out and she is packing a bag and is taking the next flight out here.” I say to both Chris and Robert. “Thank you for calling Ma that couldn’t have been easy.” Chriss says looking down at his sleeping sister. I took the seat next to the bed and am currently holding her hand. “It wasn’t but she deserved to find out from one of us and not the fucking press.” I say quietly.

Louri’s POV
I wake up the feeling of holding my hand and I don’t have to open my eyes to know who it is. “Hey Baby.” I say in a cracked voice. “Louri! Chris wake up!” Scarlett shouts. “I’m sorry for running out of the trailer like I did.” I say cupping her face in my hand. “I don’t care about that, all I care about is that you’re ok.” She says with a teary smile as she runs her fingers through my hair. “What the hell were you thinking trying to take on Alan?” Chris scolds his eyes red and puffy. “It’s not like I had a choice, Chris. He found me not the other way around.” I defend. “Chris she just woke up give a break.” Scarlett says softly. “No I had to watch as he stabbed her because I was misinformed and she left and went to that fucking beach because of me.” Chris argues. “Chris I had to watch that happen too and it’s not your fault it’s this Alan guys fault not yours.” Scarlett says, crying. “Chris she’s right it’s not your fault at all.” I say taking my brother's hand in my free one giving it a squeeze. “I am going to give you two a minute and update the cast.” Chris says giving my hand another squeeze before leaving. “Scarlett talk to me please.” I urge. “I was so scarred that I was going to loose you when I saw him stab you and you colapse I thought that was it. Then you got back up and your left side was just covered in y-your. I can’t say it.” She says as she breaks down sobbing. I scoot over just enough for her to join me. “Come here.” I say patting the bed. “I don’t want to hurt you.” She says crying. “And you won’t just come here.” I say with my arms out. She carefulling gets in the bed and I try and get the small hospital blanket to cover us both and succeeded. I grab her hand and place it on my chest over my heart. “Do you feel that?” I ask. “Your heart beat.” She says through sniffels. “Yeah my heart is still beatting I’m still alive and I’m so sorry you had to see what you did Baby.” I say before giving her a kiss on the head. “Please don’t leave me.” She mutters into my chest but I still hear it and just tighten my grip on her. “I love you Scarlett.” I say as I let my own tears fall. “I love you too Louri.” She says as she starts to cry again. “It’s ok Baby let it out.” I soothe as I run my hand up and down her back till she cries herself asleep. “Captain she can’t be in your bed, you need to rest.” A lieutenant says entering my room checking my vitals. “It’s ok lieutenant I told her to join me and please keep your voice down she’s asleep.” I say quietly so Scarlett can sleep. “Of course Captain. There is a woman here screaming bloody murder at the me and the rest of the nurses demanding to see you can I let her in?” The lieutenant asks making me chuckle slightly. “That sounds like my Ma and yes you can let her in just please tell her that I am requesting that she keep her voice down since Scarlett is sleeping.” I say with a smile. “Of course Captain.” She says quietly. “Permission to speak freely Ma’am?” She asks to which I nod. “You two look cute together and your mother is terrifing and I have been in Iraq.” She says with a small chuckle. “Thank you. And I’m pretty sure my Ma invented the whole ‘mama bear’ sterotype.” I say with a small laugh. “Well everything looks good and I will send your mother in. Anything you need Captain?” She asks. “Yes actually do you have any larger blankets?” I ask. “Yes we do. I will bring one in with your mother.” She says giving me a salute before leaving. Not even five minutes later my Ma comes crashing through the door startling Scarlett awake. “AGH! Oh Lisa it’s you.” Scarlett says with a hand on her chest. “Sorry dear I didn’t mean to wake you but um why are you in bed with my daughter?” Ma says getting protective. “Ma Scarlett and I are together and I didn’t want her to sleep in the chair.” I tell my mom. “Oh that explains why the nurse wanted me to give you this. Here you go, dear.” Ma says as she lays the blanket over Scarlett and I before sitting in the seat Chris was earlier. “Go back to sleep Baby.” I say to Scarlett quietly as I rub her back again seeing the tiredness in her eyes she nods and falls back asleep fairlly quickly. “That explains it.” Ma says looking at me. “What are you talking about Ma?” I ask confused. “The way she was when she called me and the way she is fighting Robert so hard to get  to you in that video.” She tells me. “Ma what video?” I ask slightly panicked and Ma turns the TV in my room on making sure the volume is off. “They have been playing on a loop for the past 7 hours. You didn’t know?” Ma asks as I watch the TV see Scarlett in tears fighting Robert with everything she has he is in tears as well. The tears just start falling from my eyes I don’t need to hear the TV to know what she is screaming I can hear it in my head. “Ma please shut it off.” I say crying and she does. “I’m sorry dear I thought you deserved to know.” Ma tells me I can’t find any words I just nod and start to sob. “Alan tried to go after her. I did everything I could to keep her safe.” I say looking down at my sleeping girlfriend. “And you did Sweetheart you kept her safe her mother wants to meet you.” Ma says the last part causing me to look at her in shock. “What?” I say a little too loud. “What’s wrong are you ok?” Scarlett says jumping up into a sitting posistion. “Everything’s ok.” I tell her. “I was just telling Louri about how your mother wants to meet her because she saw the video.” Ma tells Scarlett. “But I haven’t come out yet to my family what if-” I cut her off as she starts to spirall. “Hey Baby look at me. There you go just breathe ok. You don’t have to come out to them if you don’t want too. Your family just thinks that we are close friends which we are but they just don’t know how close.” I tell her and she nods. “I want to tell them I’m just scarred.” Scarlett tells me. “Oh sweetie it’s natural to be scared Louri was a sweating mess when she told us.” Ma says chuckling at the memory. “You were scared?” Scarlett asks, slightly shocked. “I was terrified. But apparently Ma already knew she just let me take my time to tell her.” I say smiling. “Your mother is worried about you Scarlett, she's in the waiting room.” Ma says. “I should let her know I’m ok.” Scarlett says as she lays back down. “Will you be here while I tell her Mrs. Evans?” Scarlett asks nevously curling into my side. “Oh sweetie call me Ma your family I knew you two would end up together the day after you met because of the way this one over here wouldn’t shut up about you.” Ma says making me blush which Scarlett of course notices. “You didn’t shut up about me huh?” She teases. “Can you blame me?” I say dramatically making Scarlett and my mom laugh. But the laughter is cut off by voices coming from the hall way. “GET OUT OF MY WAY MY BABY GIRL IS IN THERE!!” I can hear Melanie yell. “Oh god.” Scarlett says burrying her face in my shoulder. “It’s gonna be ok remember the promise I made you to always protect you I’ve got you.” I whisper in her ear and she nods letting me know she heard me. “MA’AM PLEASE DON’T SHOUT AT ME IF YOU GIVE ME YOUR DAUGHTERS NAME THAN I CAN SEE WHAT I CAN DO.” The lieutenant from earlier says. “IT’S SCARTLETT JOHANSSON NOW LET ME IN I KNOW SHE IS IN THERE!” Scarlett’s mother yells again. “I HAVE TO GET PERMISSION FROM CAPTAIN EVANS TO LET YOU IN PLEASE STAY HERE AS I DO SO.” The lieutenant says to Melanie. The door opens and Melanie charges past the lieutenant and hugs Scarlett accadently hitting my wound in the prossece. “AGH SHIT!” I yelp out. “Oh my gosh Louri I’m so sorry I was just so worried about Scarlett I didn’t mean to hurt you oh gosh you’re bleeding!” She rambles panicked and Scarlett can’t seem to move her eyes away from the blood. “Scarlett look at me now.” I say as I gently grab her face and make it so she is looking at me and not the wound the nurse has already removed my Ma from the room and gotten other nurses to help her as she tends to me. Melanie is removed from the room as well. “Miss Johansson you have to leave now so we can do our job.” A corporal says kindly. But Scarlett starts to panic at the thought of leaving me again. “No!” She sobs. “It’s  ok Baby go with the nurse.” I encourage her but she starts to fight the nurse and they end up forcefully removing her from the room. “I’ll stich this back up as fast as I can while still doing it properly then they can come back in.” The lieutenant informs me. “Thank you Lieutenant.” I say.

Scarlett’s POV
I’m stoped from my pacing when the nurse tells us we can go back in and to be carefull.
They are currently helping Louri into a new clean shirt as she sits in a chair so they can change the sheets on the bed. “Babe are you ok?” I say as I rush to her kneeling down so we can be eye to eye. “I’m ok just a couple ripped stitches I’m ok Baby.” She says with a smile putting her hand on my cheek. “Ok Captain, the bed is ready.” The lieutenant says coming to Louri’s side. “I can help her get back in bed thank you Lieutenant I’ve got it from here.” I say to the Lieutenant. “Of course Miss Johansson I’ll leave you to it.” The Lieutenant says before leaving. I help Louri back in bed then go around to my side and crawl in next to her and she wraps her arms around me and holds me tight. “Can someone please tell me what I am missing here?” My mom asks. “You fought with the Lieutenant that has done nothing but take care of not just Louri but me as well and when told you to stay in the hall you didn’t and I get you were worried but you owe that Marine an apologize and you owe Louri one as well for RIPPING HER FUCKING STICHES!!” I yell letting all my emotions out, not all of them are even meant for her but I couldn’t stop once I started. “Do not yell at me Scarlett Ingrid Johansson.” My mother scolds. “I’m sorry Mom I just that’s the second time today I had to see my girlfriend covered in her own blood I just lost it I’m sorry Mom.” I say as I lay back next to Louri. “Girlfriend?” Mom asks shit. “Took you two long enough Hunter owes me twenty bucks.” Mom states with a smile and my jaw drops.
