"Dude, don't say that. It makes us sound like a cult."

It was eleven in the morning and Henry was bored. Ray told him he didn't need to come to work today, which normally meant he'd hang out with his best friend, but he couldn't.

Valentina had gone to the mall with Charlotte and Piper an hour ago, because according to Val, buying new clothes was easier than going home to her own closet. Matter of fact, knowing her she'd probably be buying Charlotte and Piper a new wardrobe too.

"I wanna go!" Henry exclaimed, getting up excitedly from his place on the couch.

"No." Charlotte and Piper said together as they stood around Valentina by the front door.

"Why can't he come?" Val asked her two friends.

"He's terrible at shopping." Piper pointed out.

"Valid point." Val nodded.

"You guys spend too much time together anyway, you see him more than you see your own boyfriend." Charlotte added, crossing her arms.

"Pleaseeee!" Henry begged. "I'll be so bored by myself!"

Charlotte rolled her eyes and pushed Val out of the house, Piper following close behind.

"Bye Hen!"

Present time

Henry hadn't moved in an hour. His feet were dangling off the couch as he lazily stared up at the ceiling. Have you ever been so bored that you can't do anything because you're so caught up in the fact that you're bored? That was Henry.

Just as sleep threatened to engulf him, a knock was heard at the front door.

"It's open!" Henry called, not wanting to get up.

"Hey Henry." Shawn greeted as he slowly walked inside, head craning to look for a certain latina. "Is Val here?"

"Nah, she went to the mall with Char and my sister." The blonde answered lazily. "Did you need something?"

The brunette wrestled with his thoughts. He didn't know if he wanted to bother his friend with his probably misplaced worries, but maybe he'd feel better if he did.

"Have you... noticed anything off about Val?" Shawn asked cautiously, sitting down next to Henry.

"Not really." The boy shrugged, sitting up. "Have you?"
