i was walking towards the lounge to go find my very beautiful wife when i see a familiar two walking hand and hand. "hold up! i see you blondes" i smiled as they turned "hey sloan" kai said "zona kai how's it going" i said smiling "why're you making that weird face" blondie asked me "what face? im just smiling" i said "i heard you have yourself a daughter now" kai asked "yes actually i do" i said smiling
"where is she now?" blondie asked "oh she's with her mother" i said looking down at my phone "stop being gay and looking at pictures of your wife you literally see every single second of the day" Arizona said "well sorry" i said a little offended and now walking towards where i was heading with them now following me. we walk in and see Amelia doing her hair for her game today she has a game. "ry would like you to meet someone" i said and as she was about to turn around Amelia screamed a
little. "nooo! don't move im almost done" she said
"sorry she gets like this on game days" i whispered to them felt a kick on my leg making me turn and saw her raise her eyebrow. "ok done" Amelia said making me turn now "awww my gorgeous child" i said kissing rileys forehead just to mess with her making her roll her eyes. "ry? this is dr. kai bartley" Amelia said starting to speak before me making me look at her. "it's very nice to meet you" riley said smiling "you play softball?" they asked riley and
she nodded "yes yes i do" riley said walking towards Amelia
"what are you two up for today?" i asked them both and they just looked at each other "nothing much" blondie said "well you could come out and watch my amazing daughter do her thing" i said "we-'' Arizona was trying to say but we heard riley just start talking about something "mother? mom? madre? mommy" she kept going until she got my attention "yes my sweet child" i said turning towards her "mama said you had my uniform?" she questioned me "it's in the car yes?" i said and she smiled "yes i will go and get if for you" i told her and she smiled
"i will be right back" i said towards Arizona and kai
"yes anything for princess riley" blondie joked around "absolutely anything" i said making them both smile at me.
Amelia's POV
game days are always kinda hard just because everything that comes with it. im doctor so im always on call but im a mother so being a mom comes first. always. i was going through all the bags to make sure we have everything we could have ever need for this game. but missing one thing is her game bag and her bats. "riley my love? where is the bats and your softball bag?" i asked her while she was changing and i knew when i heard no answer.
i slowly and quietly sighed out of frustration because i thought we had everything but you know things happen and things just it's fine. "ok you know what? mommy? we can just tell her to go get it" i said coming up with a solution and with her walking out the room all ready. "pretty sure mom just went into surgery" my daughter said "your kidding right? like she didn't" i said "no? i saw her in scrubs so pretty sure" riley said and that just set everything out the window. "great now what?" i asked sitting down on the couch next to me. "mama? are you okay? you seem a bit distressed" riley said coming to sit down beside me.
"yes i just want everything to be perfect for you today" i said and she just started hugging me which im not complaining but unexpected. "mama? you know you don't have to always be perfect or up to the standards" she said "but these days are always important to you" i said "but that doesn't matter as long as you show up i will be happy. i don't care if we lose or win as long as you're there that's my win" she told me "ugh i love you riley pooh" i said kissing her forehead making her smile.
