Alondra's POV
i had just finished dropping off chris at daycare and riley upstairs in the office to do her schoolwork and i thought it would be a calm chill day with just surgery but no. i got a text from my wife telling me that we have a meeting which we haven't had one in a while because well you know everyone decided just to leave. on my way there i bumped into the group of interns "hello?" i said confused they were all just kinda just looking at me
"hey!" i heard jules say and the rest of them just looked at her like she had did something wrong. "get to work people" i said before walking off "hello to you too jules" was the last thing i said to them. as most can tell by now i definitely have a favorite intern but i wouldn't say favorite more like she's like able and if i picked lucas it would be called favoritism but my favorite is jules. she's nice and calm, she stays out of the way, she listens and most of all she's just the best. i also may happen to know her and jo hit it off very well.
i walked into the room and saw Webber, Bailey, Teddy, my beloved wife, nick mostly know as Meredith's boyfriend. "hello people so i heard we're having a meeting? what's it about" i said all happy just to lighten the mood because they all seemed down. "well if you came here on time you would know" Webber said "well have you ever thought you guys are early and im just on time?" i aksed them and they all shook their heads. "sit down!" i heard my wife slightly yell "geez will you lower your voice" i said now sitting down beside her chair.
teddy started going over the complaints she has received from interns about their salary. "i mean where can you get a meal for $15? a day!" teddy asked us all which did get me thinking back to when i was in medical school. i remember all i would eat was cereal or fruit. "canned soup" Webber said "heck a grilled cheese" Bailey said "pasta" nick said "me and sloan would eat cereal" my brunette said "or fruit" i added on. "fruit?" Bailey questioned me with a face "uh yes! it's very good for you and you get so much nutrients from it" i explained "oh so that explains why your kids are always eating fruit" teddy said slightly laughing and remembering
"yes that's exactly why we have fruit kids" my wife said making me laugh at the sound of it. "really? my kids are vegetable kids" teddy said making me shocked because our kids barely will eat it "teach mine because they will look at it and be disgusted" Amelia said then we heard richards voice which had stopped up from talking "okok we get you guys have very healthy kids and teach them right about their nutritional needs but right now we're talking about salary cost with our interns" Bailey said
we all did some more thinking. maybe too much thinking. we have been here basically the whole damn day. "we're not bulls you guys!" teddy said at this point i was mostly thinking about getting the heck out of here and mostly also about my wife. she's just so damn cute. "i kinda yelled at yasuda" my wife said which i did know but acted like i didn't know. "what? you did?" i said as i was taking her grapes from her plate "oh shut up you were there when it happened" she said covering my mouth as i had grapes in there causing me to gasp a little. swear she just tried to kill me or something that was forced.
"sloan? you knew" Bailey asked "that was different she was going through something" Richard said which he is also not wrong. "what about a grant?" i asked them all and they started to look around "keep talking babe" Amelia said "just a little something to help them so they won't have to work two jobs or be treated the way we were when we could change that" i explained and she gave me a smirk. "i wanna start with yasuda" she said and speaking of her she just popped right into the meeting like nothing.
she talked. she stated her point. she also tried to quit. "something to help pay off your funds without having to work two jobs and have your full focus on being a intern here at grey sloan" teddy said telling her our idea "it's all yours if you don't quit" my wife said and just a little more about what happened turns out she didn't quit. she's staying which very glad she is. "go home, go get some rest... all of you! that includes you sloan-shepherds" teddy said
they all left one by one out of the room. "so what's the plans for the rest of the night" i asked my wife cleaning up around us as there was papers and random things just lying around. "we can go home with our kids and sleep" she said smiling "sounds like a perfect plan to me" i said and i saw her walk to the door as i was heading towards their as well. she was just looking at me "what?" i asked "i love you" she said kissing me "i love you more" as i kissed her back softly on the lips.

posting this today...it was originally supposed to be a Mother's Day part but that part will be delayed until till I finish it then will get it out to you guys
