Loud footsteps could be heard all over the silent royal hall. A man with a powerful aura entered the room with his head high, stern eyes and a cold face. All other people bowed to him and greeted "My King"

 "Rise" the man ordered after getting settled on his throne.

"Start today's hearing" he ordered in his deep voice.

"Yes, my King" the eunuch answered.

"My king for the extension of our kingdom messages to all the neighbouring kingdoms has been sent," one of the ministers said making the latter nod. He continued "They have been asked to submit to my king so that they could continue to rule their kingdom under your majesty's guidance otherwise war would be announced." 

"Hmm... Good! Report me as soon as their answers come" The king answered calmly.

"Yes, your majesty" the same minister answered and went back to his place after bowing.

Similarly, other ministers came and reported to the king about the work in the departments.

"Are there any more issues left to discuss?" the king asked in his deep voice.

All the ministers looked at each other in nervousness and kept quiet. The king noticed their hesitation.

"Say what it is," he ordered with authority.

"Umm... my king, it's time to extend the imperial harem and welcome our future empress who could help you in ruling the country. You may bethrow any of the consort for the position or marry any of the desirable candidates." one of the ministers said full of nervousness.

"Hmm... I will think about this issue and then would make my decision. " The king answered.

"Sure, your majesty" the minister answered and went back to his place.

"The royal court of public proceedings is adjourned for today." The eunuch announced.

All the ministers bowed down and said unitedly "Long live my king the imperial emperor" and the meeting was dismissed. The king headed outside the great hall followed by his eunuch Jian and trusted man Kim Jong-in, the military counselor.
