The last few weeks with Tony have been great. It's really been like you're living your dream life. There haven't been any fights, he's been making time for you and treating you so right. He's even picking you up from work as often as he can, the days that he's not too busy with work himself at least. And that's the case today.
You leave your office and with a huge smile on your lips you make your way to the entrance, where Tony is waiting for you. You asked him to not get inside for obvious reasons. Any interference between Tony and Ethan is frightening you. You can't help but be scared that they'll get physical with any chance they get.
"I missed you" he says when he sees you.
He's smiling so appealingly and if he wasn't wearing his fancy sunglasses you're sure that his eyes would be smiling along. You giggle, stretch your arms and pull him in for a kiss, not minding at all that you're outside your workplace.
"How was work?" he asks.
"A nightmare" you exhale deeply.
"Did your boss have anything to do with it?" he moves a strand of hair out of your face as he asks you.
"He's been giving me a ton of work lately but that's understandable" you lift your shoulders.
"Come on, you'll tell me all about it at home" he takes your hand and helps you inside the car.
During the whole drive you open your heart to him. You love that he's listening and paying attention to you talking about your day and its difficulties. He wasn't doing much of that in the past, it's an interesting change.
"I wish I could help you with some of the work but that would be considered treason" he honestly states his concern.
"It's okay, baby, I appreciate your support" you kiss his cheek.
He drives you to his house and you walk inside together. His house has been feeling a lot like home lately with all the time you're spending here. He stands right behind you and rests his head on your shoulder as you keep on talking about how stressful and tiring your day was.
"And on top of everything, I have to be the one overviewing the interns' reports and presentations for the next couple of weeks because Fiona had her baby and she'll be gone for a while" you sigh, listing your problems one after another.
You notice Tony walking away from you and doing slow movements, starting with taking off his suit and hanging it on a chair. He keeps on looking into your eyes as you talk about how much you hate all the extra responsibilities that have fallen into your lap lately.
"Should I stop whinnying? I feel like I'm complaining too much" you say.
"No" he simply replies and removes his sunglasses.
"In fact, I want you to keep telling me how bad your day was" he rolls up his sleeves.
"Okay, but why are you so invested in this?" you ask suspiciously.
He smirks and takes you by your hand, leading you to the couch. He stays silent until you both take a seat and then, with the smirk still on his lips, he starts talking.
"I want to hear how your day switches from the worst to the best you've had lately" he unbuttons the top buttons of his shirt.
"What do you have in mind?" you ask enthusiastically, sensing that there's an idea in his mind.
"Let's start with you sitting on my face and we'll see about the rest" he naturally says and lays down on the couch.
"Really?" you chuckle.
