Chapter Forty-Seven

The gentle touch of a fingertip tracing on my arm woke me up from my sleep. Then I heard the steady beating of heart across my ear. I just discovered my favorite sound in the world. Hadeon's heartbeats. I love waking up like this. I missed waking up by his side.

random shapes on my arm. My eyes fluttered open at the interruption. I titled my head and saw him already peering down at me.

He smiled and once again, I just
discovered another favorite. Seeing his face the moment I wake up.

"Mornin'." he lowly whispered.

"Morning," I shyly said, remembering that it's the morning, I haven't washed my face and I wasn't sure if my breath
smells bad.

I quickly buried my face on his
chest to hide my embarrassment.
"What time is it?"

"Hm... Some time around five?" he
lazily answered.

I was so exhausted from last night
that I didn't get to set up my alarm. My body clock automatically wakes me up around this time, but after last night's activity, I was terrified that I would sleep in.

"My call time is at six. Why are you
already awake?"

"You used to wake up early.. I tried it because I was missing you and it became a habit." He was brutally honest. I felt a slight pinch
in my heart.

Hindi ako sumagot at siniksik na
lang ang mukha sa dibdib niya.
Hinigpitan ko ang braso kong nakapulupot sa bewang niya.

He didn't say anything for a while.
I tilted my head to look at him. He
was staring at the ceiling, completely lost in his thoughts.

"What are you thinking?" I asked.

Hades turned his attention to me.
His eyes were somber. "Us."

My brows knitted in perplexion.
"What is there to think about?" I
cheekily smiled. "You're mine
now."

A dashing smile overcame his drab mood. He pulled me closer and pressed a kiss on my forehead. He kept us in that position as he smelled the crown of my head.

"Is it okay if we go public?" I
asked.

"Yes," Hades hoarsely answered. His arms tightened around me. I heavily sighed. "I want to post photos of us, but I also want to stay lowkey and keep you all to myself."

"You can post sometimes..... I'll do
the same," he suggested.

My problem was instantly solved. I happily nodded. "Okay."

Then I thought of another thing that I
wanna do with him, "And I want to
meet your family."

"I'Il introduce you to them, baby," he softly crooned.

Humiwalay ako sa kanya para makita siyang nang maayos. I braced my arm on his chest. "As your girlfriend."

"Mine." He brushed my hair and
curled at the side of my ear. "All mine."

"I have so many things to tell you.
About New York. About Film
School...... You have so many things
to tell me, too. I want to know all
about you and what you did while
I was gone."

"Calm down, baby. We have time."

"I know." I hugged him tight and
closed my eyes.

I was more than content. I wanted to keep feeling this way. The solution to that was to stay beside Hades at all times.
