After taking a dive, Charles Wallace bonked his head on something on the seafloor.

"Are you alright?" said Jeremy.

"I'm fine. But what did I just hit my head on?" said Charles Wallace.

He reached down and picked up a huge blue Easter egg with red stars.

"Strange place to find an Easter egg" said Jeremy.

"The strange thing is how big it is" said Charles Wallace.

"And it's not even easter yet. What do you suppose..." said Jeremy.

"I dunno. But it might mean something" said Charles Wallace.

"Like what?"

"I don't know that either. But Batman always says if you see something in a strange place at a strange time, it might be a sign of criminal activity" said Charles Wallace.

"Oh for goodness sake. You would think a criminal would take easter off" said Jeremy.

"Let's find Calvin" said Charles Wallace.

Calvin had just arrived at the bay as they spoke.

"Find me and what?" he said.

"Cal! Check it out" said Charles Wallace.

Calvin inspected the blue egg and said "What is this?"

"We don't know exactly. We just found it" said Jeremy.

"What was an Easter egg doing in the bay? An egg this size at that; this has to be octuple size an actual egg" said Calvin.

"I have no idea. But we think it might be something suspicious because of its strange location" said Charles Wallace.

"Hmm. We'll have to take this matter into further consideration at home. It's getting late" said Calvin.

Jeremy looked up and said "He's right. Look at the sun. No one's gonna want us on the beach at this hour"

So he and Charles Wallace dried themselves off and headed back to their apartment.

"Why would we find an Easter egg in the water, Jeremy?" said Charles Wallace.

"Don't ask me. The only Easter egg hunt I've been on in this town was the one we had last year" said Jeremy.

"But there must be something behind this one" said Charles Wallace.

"I don't know. You'll figure it out. But for now, how about a bath?" said Jeremy.

"A bath? I just got out of water" said Charles Wallace.

"But you're still rather sandy from the beach. We both are" said Jeremy.

"Then maybe you need a bath too, Jeremy" said Charles Wallace.

"Oh, Charles! I do need a bath, but you first" said Jeremy.

"Are you sure?" Charles Wallace teased.

"Yes, I'm positive. No go on; get in the bath" Jeremy laughed.
