There was a time when we had to protect ourselves. Legend has it that when the first settlers came to Seabrook, they found wild beasts with sharp claws lurking in the forest. Which sparked an epic battle. Seabrook settlers bravely fought off the monstrous attack. And discovered a powerful energy source. Realizing they discovered a precious resource, they safeguarded it from the beasts.They weren't going to let anyone steal their treasure. So they hid it. And the town prospered and grew rich by harnessing the precious energy source. Seabrook benefited greatly as it grew strong, happy, and unified. The beasts were a distant memory. Seabrook forgot monsters could be real. Until clearly, they were. A little lime soda mixed with a dash of industrial strength Seabrook energy... And boom! Zombies were created. In a lot of ways, Seabrook's moved on since then. But it's hard to bury your past."

The summer before school was supposed to start back up, Alexandra was at cheer camp with her twin, Bree, and the rest of the cheer squad. Everything was good now that zombies were accepted in Seabrook and were on the cheer squad.
The squad cheered as they ran through the poster in front of them and over towards the house that they were staying in.
"Cheer Camp!" Bree squealed excitedly as she looked around in awe, causing the twins to shoot her a fond smile. "Even more sparkly than I dreamed."
"Hi, I'm Alexandra, and this is cheer camp, a place where everyone belongs. We're a unified squad and..." Alexandra spoke aloud as if there was an audience watching her before hearing her cousin speaking to the cheer squad.
"Split up!" Alexandra heard Bucky call out, causing her to look over in shock.
"Usually unified." Alexandra hesitantly said before quickly running over to the squad and standing next to Addison while Bree stood across from them with Bonzo. All of a sudden, Bucky blew the whistle, causing the squad to split down the middle as he flipped past as the squad cheered him on.
"Woo!" Bucky exclaimed as he held out his arms expectantly.
"Yay, Bucky!" the squad exclaimed in unison as they clapped.
"That's cheer captain Bucky, my cousin." Alexandra narrated to herself. Bucky let the applause go on for a few seconds before gesturing for everyone to quiet down.
"You've all heard the stories of bloodthirsty monsters who roam these woods, feasting on innocent cheerleaders." Bucky told the squad seriously.
"Boo!" the Aceys exclaimed as they jumped up from behind Bree and Bonzo, causing the two to jump in fright and hug each other. After they realized what happened they quickly let go of each other with an awkward laugh.
