The next day, before school, Alexandra was waiting outside of Zed's house so that they could walk to school together.
"Yo." Zed called out with a grin as he walked outside, shut his door behind him, and quickly walked over to Alexandra.
"Hi. Aren't the aliens amazing?" Alexandra gushed with a grin. "They have a non-hierarchical approach to leadership. They're a fashion-forward, peaceful people."
"Okay, well, they did kind of blow up Seabrook, right?" Zed reminded Alexandra about what had happened the night before.
"Well, it was an accident, Zed." Alexandra told Zed with a shrug. "I mean, just imagine the courage needed to come to a new planet. I mean, I'm just nervous about going away to college alone." Alexandra continued before realizing what she said after Zed looked down at the ground. "Well, not alone. With you."
"Right." Zed quickly nodded his head and looked back over at Alexandra. "I am so getting into Mountain College, and we are going to be together forever."
