47 - Maan is Back

AUTHOR'S POV

Next morning, Subi woke up a little too early. She was very excited for today evening. The over joyment for the evening wasn't letting her sleep. By six o'clock she couldn't lay back anymore and finally woke up.

Taking her phone she called Nirmaan but of our he didn't pick. He was on his way to his wife. She chuckled at her silly antics.

So instead she did her morning routine and went to the kitchen to finish everything early and make all the members leave. She wanted to do her side of preparations as perfect as possible.

Subi decided not to ruin her Maan's surprise so she brought her stuff to guest room and decided to get ready there.
It was Sunday, so everyone was at home. They all did a late breakfast and by eleven everyone was done and in their rooms.

Subi made a plan with Siddharth and Riddhi and sent all of them for shopping for today evening with her. Siddharth took Akash, Ritu and Dadu in the afternoon instead saying they'll go early instead of night.

So, right now it's four in the evening and everyone was ready to leave. When her mother in law asked why she isn't ready yet. To which she answered faking headache putting her hand on her forehead, "I have a really bad headache. I won't be able to go."

"Forget Party, I'll stay with you. You all go.", Riddhi got worried and so does Siddharth and came to Subi when they head mard their Maa.

"Don't worry maa, I have already given medicine. She just need to rest now.", Said Riddhi. Siddharth taking his mother's hand made her stand said, " And there are housekeepers as well. She'll ask them if something is needed. And if something is serious, she'll call us. Right bhabhi?", he asked looking Subi.

To which she nodded obediently. His mother looked reluctant and looked them suspicious, "why do I feel you are hiding something from me?", all three of the
got nervous.

"What Maa, you are doubting me, your son. The most innocent soul, how can I ever hide anything from you  ever.", he said dramatically. She rolled her eyes and before leaving maka sure Subi was fine and ordering her if she needs anything, she'll call.

Everyone left and Subi sighed in relief. Making sure everyone was out of the house, she told all of the house help to take an early leave.

After everyone left she was finally all alone. Her excitement was one next level.
Riddhi came after half an hour with some decorators and Subi told her to take them to her room. She didn't wanna go and ruin Nirmaan's hard worked surprise anymore.

The boys and girls who came were professional and completed really quick their work and left. Neither Subi knew nor was Riddhi allowed to see. All she did was to select a colour theme. But for what, even she had no idea. She also left after wishing her all the best for tonight and giving a sweet hug.

She was busy cooking in the kitchen for her husband. She wanted to surprise him with his food and later something else as well. She was gliding, moving and swinging in the kitchen putting her AirPods on while cooking.

She was busy dancing while cleaning the mess after cooking. Twirling around with her eyes closed when she bent swinging her hips on the song. Subi was dancing accordingly moving to every word.

Just when she stood back and was about to swing her hips sensual, a scream escaped her mouth seeing a figure standing at the door frame of their
kitchen.

Blazer on her forearm with arms crossed, leaning lazily by his shoulder to frame and cross legged. Hair disheveled but still managed to look handsome as fuck. A smirk on his face that he trying hard to control biting his lower lip. Who knows for how long he was standing there. After waiting a few seconds he said.

"What?, won't you hug your Maan?",he said and The moment she came out of the shock, the next moment she ran jumping on her Maan hugging the life out of him.

"Woohoo...relax Biwi. I'm not going anywhere.", he said trying not to fall.
Subi kept hugging him and he did the same. For the next few moment there was no exchange of words between them. Just complete silence, and their rhythm of heartbeats matching each other perfectly.

The peace they both were feeling right now was unexplainable. Nirmaan kissed her hair and hugged her tighter. It felt like ages since they last met. As if a part of them was taken away. The hollowness that they both were feeling was finally filled with this one hug.

"Biwi?", Maan said and her Biwi just hummed not ready to leave. "Biwi, look at me?", he soothes her back. Finally when she broke the hug her eyes were filled with tears. "I missed you so much Maan. I was feeling so alone without you. Don't you even know how much I love you. Gabbar Singh kahin ke. Never ever leave me.", and they both smiled.

"Wait a minute?, why are you in kitchen and that too all alone and where is Riddhi?", and an innocent smile came to her lips as if a child was caught in an act. How could she tell him that she already know about his plan but she didn't have the heart to tell him anything and neither did he know that she can see clearly now. Subi wanted to surprise him.

He looked her suspicious and then it clicked him. "Your eyes!!!..you can finally see everything clear, that's why you are here all alone. He said with full excitement. Picking her up he twirled her around in the air. They both wer laughing and chuckling in that moment.

Putting her down he kissed her till they were out of breath. Nirmaan's hand to her bare waist in saree and her hand resting on his chest, while other went to his neck.

Tongue entwined with each other. They both kept on kissing not ready to leave any time soon. Finally they broke it, panting hard, their heads joined. "Gosh! How I missed this so much. How I missed you so much this last month."

She smiled and told him to go freshen up.  he went to freshen up to his room. The moment he entered he stopped on his steps everything in the room was just like how he wanted. Moving towards the balcony he saw it and a full smile came to his lips. "This is going to be the best night of your life Biwi. I promise you. You'll never forget this night ever in this life time and that's your Maan's promise.

"The proposal that I made to you, will be fulfilled tonight. Every promise that we made 3 months ago will be taken again. Happy 3 months anniversary Biwi.", he said to himself.
