AUTHORS' POV

They were so lost in others' eyes that they didn't even realize where they were. Suddenly someone opened the door. The moment that person came in Subi stepped back, face flushed, setting her clothes hesitantly. It was none other than Shweta.

She stopped in her tracks and kept looking at Subi with a suspicious eye. But then her attention went to Nirmaan, who was standing there without any line of worry on his forehead. " Mr. Rathore, what a pleasant surprise?, what are you doing in the staff room?", asked suddenly a very sweet-sounding Shweta.

"Don't worry Mrs...?", Nirmaan didn't know her name. "oh it's MISS and my name is Shweta.", Shweta told him taking a step closer and completely ignoring Subi. "oh.. don't worry Miss Shweta, I was just about to leave."

Saying so he took his step towards the exit. Nirmaan turned to see his wife already looking at her. And from the look of her, she was not ready to let him go.

Nirmaan gave a small smile before leaving from there and to the airport. Shweta on the other hand was very suspicious about Subi.

Just when she was about to leave as well, Shweta held her wrist stopping her. "what were you doing here all alone with him?", instead of replying, Subi pulled her hand back and crossed her arms looking straight. "And why should I answer you?", Subi questioned back.

Shweta had no answer to that and Subi left from there. Feeling insulted and jealous Shweta was fuming in anger. "Just wait and watch, now you'll have to answer not just to me but to everyone.", with a devilish smile, she pulled her phone out and started typing something.

The day went by quickly, so Subi without wasting any second took her stuff and left quickly, hoping she might have gotten some message from her husband.

And to her luck, she did. "missing you already", "I wish you were here with me," with a sad face emoji. "take care of yourself and do not stress yourself much.", "even though I know, I am very hard to resistant but miss me", and of course a smirk emoji.

Subi rolled her eyes at Nirmaans' stupid messages. "you will never change. self obsessed Gabbar Singh.", saying she smiled and was about to put her phone in her bag. when she heard the ding of notifications, one after the other.

Just when she was about to check, her driver stopped, waiting for her to enter. Not giving much thought to her phone, Subi sat and was about to leave when someone knocked on her tinted window. Sliding the window down she saw Divya standing with a worried expression. "what is it, is everything all right?", Subi asked and Divya came inside opening the door herself.

they both were sitting in the same cafe, where they came last time. "did you get any notifications on your phone?". Divya asked and Subi remembered that she got a lot of messages today. She looked at Divya with knitted brows and pulled her phone out and unlocked it.

her phone was filled with an enormous amount of notifications and messages. "Are you free tonight? the other said "How much do you charge?" she was confused about what was he even talking about. "so, do you give home service or hotel services only?", as she kept on reading the messages, it all sinks in and she understood as her expressions were changing into horror and shock.

she also checked the school teachers' chat group as they were busy talking all the worst things possible about her. " how disgusting she is, she looked so innocent." who knows how many more rich guys she has at her fingertips like our Chairman?"

Subi couldn't read it more as she shuts her phone, putting it back. hr heart was racing so fast, she was feeling so disgusted by those messages. her eyes welled up, she was trying her best to not cry. Divya looked at her blank, cold, and broken self.

"Subi?", before Divya could say anything, Subi excused herself picking her stuff, and left. sitting in her car she left to go home. within fifteen minutes she was at home and ran to her room, locking herself up.

The moment she locked herself in, tears rolled down her cheeks. She kept crying for the whole evening sitting on the floor. All she could think about was those messages and comments. She didn't know what to do or how to face all of them.

she was still sitting missing her Maan, but she couldn't even talk to him. He was on his way to Singapore. "Maan...please wapis aa jao, i miss you. dekho na kya ho gea?"(Maan, please come back soon, see what happened here?), Subi was talking to his picture on her phone.

A knock on the door made her jump and she quickly stood from her place, clearing away her tears, and opened the door. It was a house staff, came to call her for dinner. Telling she isn't feeling good and doesn't wanna eat, Subi closed the door and went to the washroom to freshen up.

Even after a long warm shower, she wasn't feeling any better. coming out she saw a plate of food, on her side table. sitting on the bed she looked at food but her appetite was completely gone so he didn't ate and just went to sleep.

Subi was tossing and turning on her bed for the last two hours. She couldn't sleep without Nirmaan. It had been almost twelve hours since Nirmaan left for the airport. He should have called by now. Just when she was thinking about Nirmaan, her phone rang, and without wasting any time she picked up knowing very well who it was.

"Hello...Maan, how are you? did your flight go well? do you even know how much I missed you?", Subi bombarded him with her questions. but the truth was, she was trying to put his mind to the other side because

Nirmaan knows her very well and if he asked Subi anything, she won't be able to hide it. Subi didn't want to worry him on his business trip as he was already stressed about his work. "Relax Biwi, I just landed and yes my flight landed perfectly and I'm absolutely fine.", "how was your day at school?", his question brought all the events back and Subi's eyes welled up and she broke into tears. Nirmaan understood something must have happened.
