Cameron and I sat at our usual table at lunch. Cameron ate his lunch while I decided not to bring any that day.

I talked about random stuff while Cameron munched on his sandwich.

"Can I sit here? my friend is acting stupid" The voice I loved hearing appeared across from us.

"Go ahead," I told her since Cameron's mouth was full.

She sat down across from Cameron and me and listened to me ramble.

"Aren't you gonna eat?" Amelia interrupted me. "You're practically staring at Cameron's sandwich."

"Not today, I'm not that hungry," I reassured Amelia.

Amelia slid her Tupperware container over to me and gave me half of her sandwich. Even after I said I wasn't hungry. I looked at her with a soft smile appearing on my lips, I took half of the sandwich.

I turned back around and faced Cameron and saw him looking confused.

"Are y'all..." Cameron started, I already knew what he was gonna say.

"Of course not, We're just friends," I told him.

"If you guys are friends then why do I feel like a third wheel?" Cameron asked.

"That's just you, bro," I said to him with a small laugh.

Amelia and I had to leave Cameron to get to our class. We both walked into our class together.

I sat in my seat and looked in my bag for a pencil. The pencil I'd been using all day had suddenly disappeared. "Amelia, do you have a pencil?" I asked the girl next to me.

"Yup, here you go." She handed me the pencil.

"Thanks, babe" I flirted.

I looked over at her covering her face. I laughed. " I swear I hate you so much." She joked.

"Yea right. You can't get enough of me" I giggled.

The teacher started her boring lesson as a continuation of yesterday. I understood it a lot better today than yesterday since I stared at the notes Amelia had given me yesterday.

I still struggled a bit to keep up with the teacher's fast writing but it was better than yesterday.

"So I was thinking for our next celebrity we could do Michael Jackson," Amelia suggested as she looked at me.

"I want to do Kanye," I told her.

"Why would you ever want to write about Kanye?" Amelia asked.

"True, Michael Jackson it is."

—--------------------------------

Amelia and I research different biographies of Micheal Jackson. We switched slides from Wikipedia and Google Slides, collecting information and writing it down.

"Amelia, I'm bored," I whined.

"We've only been working for 45 minutes."

"But we've been working all week," I groaned

"It's been like 3 days."

"3 days of nothing but hard work. Can't we take a break and watch a movie?"

She agreed and turned on her tv and went to Netflix.

"What genre?" She asked.

"Romance."

She chuckled a bit before changing the genre. What's wrong with romance?

She chose a movie to put on and we both sat on her bed watching it.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"He's an idiot." She said.

"No, he is not. She's not giving him any hints." I replied.

"I've noticed about 10 hints by now."

We both laughed and continued to watch the movie. For the rest of the time, I noticed Amelia yawning awfully a lot. Until she eventually collapsed her head on my shoulder.

'Holy snickerdoodle is this really happening, I must got that movie rizz.'

I carefully moved my hand to grab my phone out of my pocket. I went to the Camera app and pointed the camera at her face. I snapped a photo and smiled at it sincerely. She's so beautiful I'm gonna cry.

I watched the rest of the movie by myself. It was a good movie. But unfortunately, it was time for me to leave.

I tapped Amelia and she woke up easily. "Oh, sorry. The movies over?" she looked at the screen.

"Yea, I have to go," I said, sliding off of her bed.

"Aww."

I grabbed my papers and bag while she stared at me with a frown and puppy eyes. She's so cute.

"Can I have a hug?" She spread out her arms.

"Of course, you can."

She got up from her bed and wrapped her arms around me. I held her tightly as if I could never see her again. I let her go and looked her in her eyes. Her lash-fringed emerald eyes sparkled like glitter. I could stare into them forever and never get tired. How could her whole entire existence be perfect?

"You have beautiful eyes, Lia" I reassured her.

"You have a beautiful face, Jade"

Suddenly, a wave of passion washed over me. I leaned in slowly, closing the distance between us before our lips finally met. My hand wandered around her waist, pulling her in closer as she took her arms and wrapped them around my neck. The kiss was really long, but neither of us seemed to care. I wanted this and she must've wanted it to.

I broke the kiss, gasping for air as I looked her in her eyes again. After realizing what I did, I let go of her and took a few steps back.

"I'm so sorry." I apologized. Though she stayed silent. "I should get going, see you tomorrow." I left her room.

I ran out of her house and pull out my phone.

Me: I kissed her.

Cameron 🥵: WOAH WHAT

Me: ong i promise it was an accident.

Cameron 🥵: I knew you liked her.

Me: and she must like me back since she kissed back. Right?

Cameron 🥵: ofc she likes you back.

Me: If you say so jit.

Did I really just do that?
