Y/N POV

"Okay bye!" I said waving to my co-workers before leaving the building,I leave work at least around seven-eight o'clock at night.I drive so I don't get anxious walking around at night,

I walked into the parking lot and quickly noticed my car,I sighed walking to my car while digging into my purse to look for my car keys.

I stopped in my tracks when I couldn't find them,my heart stopped as I continued to aggressively move stuff around in my purse to find them.I couldn't even hear the medal click together which was also making me lose it.

"Looking for these?" I heard behind me,I turned my head first seeing a figure.I turned my body to see who it was, "hey there"

"Marcus? What do you want?" I asked,he chuckled as he tossed my keys in the air as they land back in the palm of his hand.

"To see you,why don't we go for a spin?" He said holding up my keys as I smirked

TIME SKIP

"So you missed me?" He said as he turned a right,I'm letting this man drive my car at night when I'm exhausted.I hope he doesn't think we're gonna drink cause I don't want to,

"Nope,not even a little bit" I said looking out the window into the darkness besides the street lights,

"We use to have so much fun back then" he said,I chuckled

"Yeah-well I did with my sister,I barely saw you there and plus..I was a minor and in a relationship so I didn't want to be near older guys or guys in general" i explained,he nodded

"But now you're grown and single,so where does that lead you?" He asked keeping his eyes on the road,

"That leads me to being a good ass single mom,who's gonna focus on her child" I said raising my voice at 'focus'

"Really? So you're not interested in anyone?" I sighed,why is he all up in my business?

"Nope,not at the moment and not for a while"

"Hm..what a shame"

I looked at him with a weird look,after that it was silence.I know what his intentions are and I'm not going with it,I'm being cool cause he's an old friend but not really a friend friend..if that makes sense.

Just someone I've seen around and know his name,when I was a minor he used to hook up with a lot of girls including my sister's friends.He wanted to get with my sister but she was having a thing with someone else.

"Yup,what a shame" I said looking out the window again,

"Why don't we go to my place? Watch a move? Get along?" He offered,my eyebrows furrowed,now I felt uncomfortable cause there's no way we haven't spoken that long and he's already trying to get me in his bed?

"Uh no thank you,but I can drop you off your house? I have a kid that I need to take care of" I said

"But isn't she with someone right now?"

"Marcus,I don't know what you expect me to do with you but I'm not looking for anything..not even a fling-get the fuck outta my car" i demanded

"What?"

"Get.out.of.my.car"

"I'm driving-

"I'll bash your head onto my steering wheel if you don't get your ass off my seat" I raised my voice,he started breathing heavily before pulling over to a nearby bus stop.

He unbuckled the seatbelt and opened the car door,he hopped out before i unbuckled my seatbelt and moved to the driver's seat. "Try to get with me again and I'll call my baby daddy on you" I said before closing the door in his face.

I drove off as I took deep breathes,he could have not stopped driving and still took me to his place and do god knows what to me.He could've threw my phone out the window so I wouldn't call for help,

I stopped at a red light making me have time to put in my seatbelt and lock the doors so if he tried running after me,he wouldn't open the door and try to pull me out.

I pulled my phone out and placed it in a phone holder near the radio,I told Siri to call my mom and she did so.

"Hello?" I heard my mom

"Hey ma,do you still have nessa?" I asked the stupid question,but I was freaking out so my brain couldn't comprehend.

"Of course,she's not flying away" she said making me smile as I slowly start to calm down. "You okay niña? How was work?"

"Work was good,um I'm on my way and I'll tell you later cause something scary kinda happened " I said,

"Okay mija,remember you can talk to me like your best friend?" She said,I nodded

"I know ma,thanks"

"Do you want me to stay on the phone with you until you get here?" She asked,this is one of the main reasons why I loved my mother.

"Yes please" I said in a soft tone,she chuckled

"Okay mi niña,we can talk about something else until you get here..I don't mind"

TIME SKIP

"Que?!" My mom shouted,

"Ma please don't freak out" I said standing up from the couch since she did,

"This is why you should never go out with your sister,he probably knows where you live" she spoke through her accent. "Ahy dios mio"

"Mami relax" i said walking up to her and moving her hands down away from her face as she started to freak out.

"You need to tell miguel" she demanded,

"What? No I'm not involving him-

"Yes! That man is the only man that I know other than your father that will protect you,trust me don't mention this to your sister.I can't have her locked up again"

I sighed "ma he didn't touch me"

"Well he could've and he probably would if you didn't tell him to get out the car,plus you already told that bastard that you would get miguel-

"Yeah to scare him but not to actually get him involved!,Mami miguel is too sweet" I said with a smirk

"He's not too sweet when it comes to protecting you or his daughter I'll tell you that much,that man will go to war for Vanessa y tú,you're telling him! Ya! Caso cerrado"

"Fine" I groaned
