instead of going to my parents,I went to miguel.Mason has Vanessa and that's freaking me out,miguel definitely needs to get involved.He's the dad for fuck's sake

I knocked multiple times on his door before he opened it, "hey what are you doing here? You supposed to be at your parents" he told me

"Mason called-wait you know?" I asked

"Yeah Mason called me first,my baby is over there and I don't know what his problem is but we're gonna solve it" he said

"Miguel you can't go to jail-

"I'm not gonna go to jail,I don't plan to cause I don't want to leave nessa or you..but if I'm gonna do something to protect you and our kid then fuck it" he said before walking outside and closing the door,we walked and talked together as we left his home.

A car pulls up,I'm guessing that's his ride.They rolled the window down before miguel opened the passenger seat, "dad?!" I said

"Que? You think I'm gonna let this sick bastard know where you and my grand baby live? Did you forget who's your father?"

"Dad can you just..make sure miguel doesn't do anything extreme" I told him as miguel stared at me

"Don't worry,we're just gonna go talk to him" my dad spoke,I chuckled

"Yeah you and miguel doing the 'talking' isn't what talking really means" I said,miguel and my dad are still best friends regardless of what the situation between us.

My father has a lot of respect for miguel for stepping up to be a father at a young age and working,he's glad miguel doesn't complain or tried to make me abort.Miguel believes my father is a god cause how much my father knows about stuff.

"Hey" miguel said getting my attention, "we'll take you to your moms okay?"

I nodded before getting in the backseat,they were quiet but also whispering to each other.Mason called miguel and miguel told him that they will be there in a bit,of course Mason is involved.He's the one that noticed the weirdo near my house,

I'm just worried for nessa,she doesn't have neither of her parents.Just one of her uncles,she's all about mommy and daddy cause she doesn't have a favorite parent.

Finally,my dad stopped in-front of his house.I sighed before hopping out the car and looking back at the passenger window.

Miguel rolled it down, "I'm not gonna do anything alright? I'll call you" he said

"Okay" I breathed out while nodding,he gave me a smirk

"Míra,tell your mom to relax and I'll be home soon" my dad,I rolled before nodding.After that,they drove off

I walked to the door and knocked,the door opened revealing my mom.She gasped before pulling me into an embrace, "oh mi niña,I'm so glad you're okay" she said

"You know what they're gonna do?" I asked as I pulled away,she shook her head making me sigh

"But we better keep this quiet,Alexandra is inside and she will make her way over there if she knows" she said through her accent,I nodded while she let me inside.

"She's upstairs if you want to go talk to her" she said walking to the living room,i then made my way to the stairs.I walked past my old room and to Alex's room,I knocked as I heard Spanish music inside as usual.

The door opened showing Alex in her oversized white shirt and in her jeans but no shoes , "why you dressed up for?" I asked her as she laughed

"Pues give me a hug first foo" she said making me playfully roll my eyes before dabbing her up and pulling her into a hug.I walked inside her room,

She flooped on her bed on her back,I looked around as I seen some stuff change.She still had those pictures of us together making funny faces or throwing up peace signs,

Her nice clean shoes on the ground in the corner,her jewelry like my mom wears scattered on her white vanity along where her perfumes and lotions were.My mom and her were the same but so am I,

"So whatcha doing here?" She asked before laying her necklace out of her shirt,the necklace she never took off.The cross,that one I have at home that we always matched.

"Just came to visit,miguel has nessa for a little while so" I said,

"Oh you lame ass,should've brought her here I miss her" she said making me give her a fake smile before sitting on her bed.

"Anything new?" I asked to change the subject,she shook her head

"Nah,I'm trying to keep my promise to mom..stopped going out with my friends for a little while." She said making me widen my eyes

"Really? You stop going out? Since when?" I mocked

"Oh shut up,it was bound to happen and besides..I'm sober so mom has been proud"

"Good,keep her that way,have you stolen anything?" I asked

"No dude,I'm telling you I'm stopping my bullshit..even if I do want to smoke or drink really bad" she said in a low tone

"I know mija,but you're good I'm proud of you" I told her making her smile, "why don't you look for a job? Clear your head"

"Eh not yet,wanna stay in the house for a while with ma.make up the time I didn't get to have with her for my nonsense," she explained making me nod,

"Aw you're growing up" I said patting her thigh as she laughed

"Fuck off" she said as I laughed at her, "what's up with you and baby daddy"

"Nothing,same old" I told her,she scoffed

"At this point just call him if you want to get laid,you're never gonna have anybody else in your bed-

"Oh my god why are people saying that? Taty said the same thing!"

"Ou taty? Tell her I miss her lips" she said

"Make up your mind do you like girls or guys?" I asked with a smile

"Why not have fun with a little bit of both?" She said as she raised her hands making me shake my head "but seriously,if you don't get laid it's gonna be embarrassing hermana..it's gonna be almost three years without sex"

I groaned as I throw my head down on the bed
