Y/N POV

"Wha-what do you mean?" He asked stuttering

"Nevermind,forget I even said anything-

"Y/n,you said unless..unless what?" He asked,I shook my head while closing my eyes to avoid eye contact with him. "Y/n come on"

"Nothing alright? Can we just have this dinner?" I asked finally meeting with his eyes,he sighed before looking away

"Yeah,yeah sure..anything for you" he said looking back at me,Ian came back with the drinks

"Here you guys go,are you guys ready to order?" He asked,I nodded while opening my mouth to speak but miguel interrupted and told him my order then his.

Ian nodded, "okay I'll be back with your order" he said before walking away.Miguel looked back at me as he gave me a weak smile,

I felt my chest tighten,I feel bad..and I want him to know how I feel now and I want him to know it's more than just sex or anything in that nature.

"So how's bartending?" I asked,he cleared his throat as he set the big napkin on his lap.

"It's uh good,it's good" he spoke,I nodded "how's waiting tables?"

"It's alright,Taty works with me and I have a good boss that isn't a dick so" I said with a small laugh,he chuckled

"That's good,I'm glad" he said,

"Yeah"

We stared at each other in silence,he was always my person,my heart and my world.Our relationship just had to end but a part of me regrets it then another part says it had to be done

"Maybe you want to talk about the old times?" He suggested,I shrugged

"Sure like back in highschool?" I asked,he nodded finally smiling.I sat up straight now getting interested in our conversation,"Okay like what?"

"Remember when we uh..first met?" He asked,I chuckled

"How could I forget?"

FLASHBACK

"Can I come over later? I miss your mom's cooking" Taty said,I chuckled

"Sure,you know you're not a bother to us" I told her before placing a chip in my mouth,it was lunch my favorite period of the day.

"Thank god,my mom has her boy toy coming over" she said

"Which one?"

"I don't know it's between one-four" she spoke before stealing a chip from me as I laughed,suddenly I felt a presence come up to our table.

I looked up seeing a good looking guy,I instantly loved his hair.He had it down and it was on his shoulders,I always had a thing for guys like that

"Hey,sorry to bother you guys but my friend thinks you're pretty and he was asking if he can get your number?" He said to Taty,

"Who's your friend?" She asked,the boy pointed towards his friend with the blonde fluffy hair that gave a nod with a small smirk.

"His name is Mason" the boy said before looking at me,his lips formed into a smile "hi"

"Hi" I responded with the same smile,I looked at Taty who smirked at me noticing it.

"Uh sorry not interested,but what's your name?" She said while giving me glances as I got nervous knowing what she's trying to do.

"I'm miguel but my friends call me mikey"
