I heard the door close shut making me turn my head seeing brady, "oh my regular customer" I said before facing my head toward the bar
"The usual" he said while laughing as he sat on the stool,I grabbed a cup and started pouring him a drink. "So what happened yesterday?"
"I slept at y/n's house" I told him,his eyebrows raised
"You serious? Did y'all do anything?" He asked,I chuckled while shaking my head
"Just made out on the guest bed,but we spoke about what we're gonna do" I said,he motioned his hand to tell him what we spoke about.
"We're gonna take it slow basically,like you said our relationship was dangerous" he laughed
"Yeah both were hella toxic but at least you loyal" he spoke before taking a sip,I pulled my phone out my pocket and went to my gallery.I showed him the photo of y/n and nessa together from last night
"She's a good one mikey,don't fuck it up this time" he told me,I scoffed
"I know I won't-
"Okay so if a guy walks up to her while she's with nessa talking about he wants to be the stepdad what you doing?" He asked me
"break his jaw-...I see your point" I stopped myself
"Exactly,now what you actually do is let her handle it cause if she needs help and strength then she'll call you,other than that,you know y/n got it like that especially when it comes to her kid" he explained as I nodded.
"Yeah you right,since when you were smart?" I said nodding my head,he huffed
"I've always been smart my brother,you guys just always make me laugh with your stupidity" he said as we laughed
Y/N POV
"oh please tell me he was in your guts last night" Taty whined,I laughed while shaking my head "ugh,so you're telling me nothing happened? Y/n I'm telling you,the minute you tell me you did it I'm not gonna believe you"
"Then don't believe but when I can't come in,can't be mad" I said putting the money in the register,
"Why wouldn't you come in-
She gasped, "youuu bad girl" she said as I smiled at her.Then I remembered what miguel asked me for,I turned to look at her as her eyebrows furrowed "what?"
"How do you feel about Mason?" I asked,she chuckled
"He's cute ,I don't know..I mean I rejected him in highschool so many times,he's not gonna accept me" she spoke while pouring coffee in a cup
"What if I told you he's still interested?" I said smirking,she side eyed me as I grinned
"You're lying"
"What if I told you,he wants to take you out like a real gentlemen?" I teased
"Well I hope he doesn't put me on his lap and shove his tongue down my throat in his car" she said,I gasped
"Hater,when was the last time did you get laid?" I asked,she nervously laughed
"Okay fine,in a year" she spoke as I gasped
"And I'm bad?"
"You haven't for like three years so don't compare yourself to me" she said pointing at me as I laughed while tapping her arm before going to a table.
TIME SKIP
"Bye sexy,love you" Taty said before connecting our cheeks together while making a kissing noise
"Love you pretty " I said as she walked to her and I walked to mine "remember to call him!" I shouted causing her to turn around and wave at me while nodding
I hopped in the car and quickly started the car,Miguel parents is taking care of Vanessa this week while I'm at work.I make sure both grandparents get time with her,thankfully they don't complain about it
My phone start to buzz,luckily it was good timing for me to stop at a red light.I dig into my purse to grab my phone,I smiled at the name before picking up
"Hello?" I said
"Hola mija" Wendy spoke,
"Hey wendy,how's it going?" I asked
"Everything is good,are you on your way home?"
"Yeah I am,don't tell me you're thinking about kidnapping her" I joked as she let out her genuine laugh,I adore wendy she's the sweetest soul that I ever met.
Wendy was obviously upset when miguel and I separated,She wanted to actually beat the hell out of miguel for it.She couldn't look at him for almost a week,she called me her best friend or her twin
That made miguel feel worse about our breakup but he cheered her up telling her I'll still come over to hang,but miguel and i's commit for nessa was horrible but then we bettered it and now we definitely bettered it.
"No no of course not,well maybe" she said making me giggle, "I was gonna ask if you want to have dinner with us tomorrow when you get off work if it's not a bother?" She asked
"Aw of course,I would love to" I heard her take a deep breathe
"I was afraid you were gonna say no"
"Why would I? I'll be there,are you inviting miguel?" I asked with a smirk
"Actually it was his idea for the dinner but he doesn't know you're coming,I wanted to invite you and Vanessa cause I don't see you much and I miss you"
My heart melted,I felt like crying on how sweet she is. "I miss you too!,I'll be there no matter what" I said,
"Great!get here safe alright? Love you" she said,I felt my throat tighten she was such a fucking angel.Of course,I love my mother but having your significant other's mom talk to you like this just makes you feel like you made it.
"I love you too wendy" I said,I know she'll get super excited when she finds out me and Miguel are trying again.
