Y/N POV

We all walked in Tristan's house as he greeted us in,they were some familiar faces but most weren't.We saw brady who was drinking and talking to some girl so we decided to leave him alone as that,

Taty was holding nessa along being by Mason's side while I was holding to Miguel's hand, "so the kids are outside playing,you can let nessa go and play" Tris said

I nodded before looking at Taty,she smiled before walking with nessa outside as the rest of us sat on a empty couch.

"Hey guys,come get a drink" Tris said,Mason and Miguel for up and followed him leaving me.I didn't mind cause we came here to hang out,Taty walked over to me and sat beside me

"Ew I hate people" she whispered as I laughed,Taty and I always spoke shit about people and sure,maybe it wasn't a good look on us but we didn't care

"I hope nessa makes a new friend" I said,Taty chuckled

"Yeah and Miguel is gonna make sure it's not a boy" I nodded knowing miguel doesn't want nessa to be around any boys until she has to get into school.

Taty and i continued to look around observing other people, "y/n.." Taty spoke causing me to turn my head and look at her. "Is that who I think it is?" She nodded at a direction

I looked at where she was nodding at and saw Marcus,fuck..what the fuck is he doing here? Is Tristan cool with him?

Marcus was drinking while looking around, "shit Miguel is gonna kill him" I whispered

"Well he's not doing anything right now,let's not cause a scene unless he does something" Taty said while putting her hand on my thigh to comfort me,I sighed before nodding knowing she's right.

Mason and Miguel came back with drinks in her hand,miguel gave me one as Mason gave Taty one as well.Miguel sat next to me while mason sat next to Taty,

Miguel took a sip of his drink as he placed an arm behind me, "you okay? You look worried" miguel says.I was debating if I should point out Marcus or just keep my mouth shut

At the same time,I don't like hiding things from him. "Marcus is here" I told him,he quickly started looking around.

Taty gave me a worried look as Mason didn't know what was going on,Miguel then finally caught Marcus. "Yo what's up?" Mason asked miguel

"That shithead is here" miguel responded,Mason immediately caught on knowing who he meant.

"Wanna leave?" Mason asked,miguel shook his head before responding

"Nah,he's not starting trouble..let's just be cool unless he does something-then I'll kick his ass" miguel said now looking at me,I gave a weak smile.

Sometime it's hard to deal with Miguel and his jealousy but I can see his growth,normally the old miguel wouldn't have cared he wasn't causing trouble,he would have socked him right there in front of everyone.

The four of us continue to speak about something else to not worry about Marcus,Brady came over and started making us laugh about the girl he was talking to.

Tristan was busy being host so there were times where he will come to check up on us and chat but usually he was making sure no one is thirsty or hungry or bored.

Miguel said he's gonna talk to him later on why he invited Marcus and how he even knows Marcus,I was curious as well.Tristan doesn't know what Marcus did cause Mason and Miguel said they never told him anything about the situation,

"Daddy!" We heard Vanessa scream but in terror,miguel without hesitation immediately got up and ran to where his daughter could be as I followed.

I heard footsteps follow us,we ran outside where the kids were.We saw nessa with a cut on her knee,miguel rushed over to her and kneeled to her since she was sitting on the floor crying

Nessa barely ever cries so when she does it hurts me and I know it hurts miguel,I walked over to her "baby you fell?" I asked her

She shook her head as she looked up at me, "daddy said if a boy touches me to call for him" she said as she sniffled

"A boy touched you?" Miguel asked,she nodded before pointing to someone behind us.I looked and saw marcus there

"He pushed me" she muttered,I felt my blood boil.I speed walked over to him and slapped him with all the strength in me,

Mason tried to get to him but Taty kept pushing him back along with other dad's or friends with Tristan, "you pushed my niece you weird fuck?!" Mason shouted

I looked over at miguel who was now standing glaring at Marcus,Mason definitely didn't change since the way he's acting but miguel..he would've done the same and would push anyone out his way to put his hands on him.

Especially for nessa, "y/n take nessa inside" he told me still keeping his eyes on Marcus.I looked at Mason who nodded signaling me to listen,

I sighed before picking up nessa as she was sniffling with her red button nose and her red glossy eyes "hey niña it's okay,daddy is gonna handle it okay?" I told her

She nodded while rubbing her eyes,Taty then walked in after me. "What's going on?" I asked her

"Mason told me to come inside but I don't know y/n,the look miguel has scares me" she said worriedly,I sighed

"Yeah I know..me too" I mumbled

MASON POV

I looked at miguel as he just kept his eyes on Marcus,Marcus was getting nervous.He already had a light red mark on his face due to the slap y/n gave him,

I didn't want Taty to be in this either,Tristan and Brady were here as well as some friends I've seen before or spoke to.

"Did you put your hands on my daughter?" Miguel asked calmly,this was a whole other miguel.I guess he was serious about fixing his problems for y/n,I'm proud of him actually

Marcus narrowed his eyes at him, "what?" He asked.This made me furious,

"Did you put your filthy hands on my kid" miguel asked again before his jaw clenched,

"It was an accident-

"How the fuck did you push my kid by accident-why you even out here? Why you even here!" Miguel said easing his voice

"I was invited by my coworker,tristan" he said,Tris gulped next to me.We didn't say anything to him,we barely get to see him since he's always at work

"Alright so why you out here with the kids? You got a kid here?" Miguel asked

"No..just wanted..to see what the kids were doing" he said while looking for words to use,but if you ask me I believe this man was bullshitting

In Miguel's eyes,he knew he was bullshitting as well. "You should get out of here" miguel said.Marcus then grew a smug on his face that I just wanted to knock him out for

Miguel noticed as well which caused him to chuckle while looking at the ground,Marcus then turned to us that were near the door.He started walking over to us until miguel stopped him

"Yo Marcus" he called out,Marcus turned with a sigh out of annoyance before getting rocked and put to the ground.

I smirked while looking at miguel knowing that was the old miguel, "Get this fucker out of your house" I demanded tristan before he nodded and told some guys to help him

I walked over to miguel who looked at the sky while laughing and shaking his hand that he used to punch him, "you good?" I asked

He nodded as he looked at me, "yeah and I'm gonna keep beating his ass until he leaves town" he sternly said making me laugh and patting his back

Y/N POV

I heard some voices outside before two guys were holding Marcus up by his arms that were over their shoulders, "woah what happened?" Taty asked while getting up

"Miguel happened" Tristan said,I analyzed Marcus and I realized he had a busted lip and a bruised nose...shit miguel..

I'm leaving to Florida soon but dw I'll still update cause that's not an excuse but if I forget please understand I'm on vacation 🙌🏼
