My mom thought it would be best to stay with them for a couple of days since she freaked out that Marcus probably knows where I live.

It was the next day of the thing that happened with Marcus,my dad offered to drop and pick me up for work and obviously I couldn't turn it down.But my mom begged me to tell miguel,

I had to,I closed my lip balm after applying it and went downstairs. "I'm done!" I said to get my dad's attention,

"Good,you gonna eat breakfast" he demanded,I gave him a look

"Oh no,it's okay I don't eat breakfast-

"Well since you're under my roof for the next couple of days,I suggest you eat.alright?" He said in a serious tone,i sighed

Doesn't matter how old I am,my parents will always tell me what to do as long as I'm under their roof or if my life is in danger.Especially pops,you can't ever disrespect him.

Mom is scary too but pops is a comedian,always in a great mood but when he's angry I would rather just shut up and listen.So that's what I did..

I sat down at the table as I waited for my mother,I made sure my watch had the right time as I looked at it.

"Oh hey mija,look here's your food" she said placing a plate in-front of me,she saw my face "I hope it's good enough to make you full and get to work on time-

"No ta bien,it's good enough for her..eat" he said to me,I rolled my eyes "yeah,yeah do all that extra" he said while rolling his eyes to mock me.

I chuckled but trying to hide it,There were footsteps coming from down the steps causing the three of us to look over.

Alexandra had Vanessa in her arms, "buenos Dias,nessa was up when I went to your room" she said to me,

"Oh hey my baby" I greeted her as Alex handed her to me,I put her on my lap and fed her a little bit of my food.

"Don't you got work?" I asked Alex,

"Yeah in a few,but my boss doesn't mind me late-

"Cause she's his favorite" my mom said as she handed Alex her plate,

"Oh yeah?" I asked with a smirk

"He lays me off,yes but I don't think that means anything" she said before pouring juice in her cup,

"Eh I think it means something" I spoke,she groaned

"No it doesn't-dad?"

"Don't know and don't care" he said sitting down with the plate my mom gave him, "Amor,can I get a drink?" He asked my mother.

"Yeah" she said rushing to the kitchen,she walks back out and places a drink near his plate before looking at me. "Miguel,remember"

"Yes ma I got it" I said as she hummed before sitting down

TIME SKIP

"Time for break" I said to my co-workers with a smile,we went to the back room where they have a table and a couch with a vending machine.

"Ugh finally" my friend Tati said as she flopped on the couch,I smirked before pulling out my phone.

I clicked the contact and clicked call before putting my phone against my ear, "who you calling?" Tati asked

"Miguel" I said

"Ouu baby daddy? You miss him or you miss him?" She said with a smug,i scoffed while waving her off before I heard the other line picked up.

"Hello?" I heard

"Hey,are you busy?" I asked

"Well I'm at work right now but I don't mind,what's up?"

"I um..I need to talk to you,something happened last night-and I'm staying at my parents for a bit cause they're worried for me-

"Woah woah woah-slow down" he interrupted "can we um..meet up? Maybe it can be better for you to talk in person" he suggested.that actually sounded better for me,

"Okay yeah"

"Wanna come to my place? Since for some reason your place isn't available" he said with a chuckle,

"Yeah it's fine,I'll bring nessa"

"Sounds good,I'll cook" he said as I heard a smile in his voice.

"Okay thanks" I spoke before hanging up,I looked back at Tati who had a confused look. "A situation my mom wants him to know about"

"Need me to kick someone's ass?" Tati asked,I chuckled before shaking my head.

"No,miguel will if he has to" I said putting my phone back in my apron pocket,I sighed. "But then at sometime..I kinda want him to?"

"You want him to kick the guy's ass?"

"Is that bad?" I asked putting my hands on my hips

"Eh I mean,if it makes him look hot then no" we laughed

TIME SKIP

"Table eight is all cleaned up" I said putting the dirty dishes into the sink,

"Alright,go ahead and go home" my boss said as he counted the money,I smiled as I walked into the locker's room.

I untied the black apron before taking my phone out into my back pocket of my jeans,I grabbed my sweater before putting it on.

"Hey y/n!" I heard my boss call,

"Yeah!"

"Some guy is outside waiting on you"

My heart dropped,was it Marcus again? Was it miguel? But miguel said we would meet at his place,definitely Marcus..oh god

I grabbed my purse and walked out the locker room, "goodnight girls" I said to my coworkers before leaving.I looked around and saw a car with a figure leaning on it,

"You here for me?" I asked walking towards them even though I couldn't see them well,

"Duh,my place remember?"

I sighed out of relief knowing it was miguel,I walked up to him seeing him in his hat and hoodie.He always knew how to put together his outfit,

"Thank god it's you" I said with a smile,his eyebrows furrowed.

"What do you mean?"

"It's a long story,I think you might get mad" I said making a face

"At you?"

"No,more like at a guy who tried to get me into his bed" i explained,his face turned straight.

"Now you really need to tell me who is this dick"
