Y/N POV

The loud vibrating noise went through my ears waking me up,I groaned before turning it off then sitting up.I rubbed my eyes before realizing miguel was in bed on the other side.

I guess he fell asleep,I looked at nessa who had her hand on his face as she was passed out on her back,I smiled at the view.I grabbed my phone and took a picture to keep.

miguel probably wasn't the best boyfriend but he's the best father and I couldn't ask for anyone else,I lightly shook miguel.He opened his eyes at me,he gave me a smile before slowly sitting up to not wake up nessa,

"Hey" he whispered before rubbing one of his eyes, "morning"

"Morning" I said with a smirk

"Sorry if me sleeping in the bed made you uncomfortable" he said,I chuckled

"No worries,I should be getting ready for work so nessa and I need to get home" I said taking the covers off me,

"Actually" he licked his lips "I'm off today so can I keep her here?" He asked,

"Uh sure,I'll take a cab home cause my car is still at work" I told him getting up and facing him who's still on the bed watching me with those eyes.

"Oh yeah,um..I kinda have clothes here that you haven't picked up..I-I don't know maybe you can use those and take a shower here" he offered

I haven't picked up? It's about to be almost two years and I haven't picked up my clothes from here? That's odd "oh thanks,where are they?"

He slowly got up and went to his closet,in his closet he also had a dresser that couldn't fit in the room since the type of environment we lived in.He opened the middle draw and motioned me to look,

I walked over and saw half of my old clothes that I used to wear when I was with him, "oh my god,you still have these?" I asked,

"Yeah I keep forgetting to give them to you" he said,yeah right..

"Thanks but I don't have any extra underwear" I said with a face,he scratched his head

"Uh no,you do,just keep looking" he said before walking out the room,my eyebrows furrowed before looking in and moving stuff around.

I then found a pair of panties that I owned,oh my god..these clothes are clothes I would take off for sex with Miguel,the underwear I've been looking for has been here.

I shut my eyes of embarrassment,I grabbed a black top that usually hugged me and panties before walking to the bathroom seeing miguel come upstairs.

"Hey can you watch nessa?"I asked

"Oh yeah,you don't need help turning the shower on?" He said,i shook my head "okay well if anything,let me know"

I nodded before walking into the bathroom and stripping

TIME SKIP

I slid on the jeans that I wore yesterday,i then put on my bra and the top.I started looking for deodorant,I opened the bottom cabinet that was under the sink and saw a female deodorant that hasn't been used.

Seems like it's been bought,who is this for? I opened it and lifted my shirt up to apply it on.After,I looked for a unused toothbrush but couldn't find any.

"Fuck" I said to myself,I unlocked the door and pulled it open "Miguel" I called out

"Yeah" I heard from the bedroom before he walked out,

"Do you have an extra toothbrush?"

"Shit,sorry but you can use mine? If it doesn't gross you out,I mean I don't have anything" he said with a laugh

I smiled "yeah I guess that'll have to do,thanks"

"Of course" he said before looking me up and down,I looked away and walked back into the bathroom.I couldn't let miguel do anything with me or to me,it's not right..

I washed his toothbrush before anything then after I used it,I walked out and walked into the bedroom where miguel was laying on the bed admiring nessa.

I smiled before looking into the mirror he had and started fixing my hair the way it needed to be, "how's that job going?" He asked as he stared at me through the mirror

"Good,same old,I mean there's nothing exciting about waiting tables" I said with a chuckle

"Well yeah" he smiled,he sat up before pushing his hair back. "You know you still didn't tell me the guy's name"

I sighed "Marcus okay?" I looked at him through the mirror "it was Marcus"

He nodded before getting up and taking a look back at nessa,he walked up behind me making me tense up. "You know you can talk to me right? I won't get mad" he said

I nodded with a light smile, "thanks mikey"

He grinned "I haven't heard you call me that in a while"

"Well since you want to be friends" I turned around facing him as we was inches away "why not?"

"Yeah,friends..which means I can give you a ride to work right?" He said making me laugh

"Yes"

"Okay well let's wake up nessa"

TIME SKIP

Miguel drove me to work as nessa was in the car seat in the back looking around,she didn't want to miss mommy so she wanted to come along and say bye.

Miguel drives up to the diner,I look over at him. "Thanks for driving me"

"Anytime" he said,we stared at each other for a little bit before I turned to nessa.

"Bye pretty girl,mommy needs to work okay? You'll be with daddy" I told her as I touched her feet,she grabbed my finger with a smile

"Okay mama" she said,I blew her kiss before giving one last look at miguel then hopping out the car.I walked up to the door and looked back seeing miguel watch me,

Maybe we could be friends...
