"Taty,table 3 is yours" I said to her as I grabbed the plates ready for my table,she nodded before walking off to hers.
I walked to table seven and handed them their plates, "anything else?" I asked they shook their head with a smile. "Okay well if you need anything,let me know"
"Y/n table two needs you" another coworker said,Emily,someone Taty and I don't get along with but we tolerate her for work purposes.
"Okay" I dryly said as I made a drink for one of my other tables,
"Y/n,table two needs you-
"Yeah I heard you,I have other tables that need me right now" I said,she scoffed
"Maybe I should take it since you aren't organized" she told me,I chuckled
"Maybe you should,not my fault that the boss thinks I'm the best fast waiter he got,now hop off my ass would ya?"
Her jaw slightly opened as she narrowed her eyes at me as I smirked at her,she rolled her eyes before walking away.
"Ou that turned me on" Taty said as she was on the other side of the counter,I smiled "I love it when y/n runs things" she said
Taty isn't really into girls but she likes to have fun with them,she's not actually into me but her and I flirt as a joke and to pass time at work.Her and Alexandra had nights together but they don't feel any time of way towards each other,
"Oh shut up,that bitch likes to poke me" I said,she laughed
"You're not the only one but I'm mean can you blame her? The boss is always letting you slide" she sad as she grabbed plates from the kitchen window for her table
"It's cause he understands me,he knows I have a kid and Miguel works so when I come in late he knows why" i explained
"So he doesn't want sleep with you?" She asked making me widen my eyes,
"Oh my god Taty,no" I laughed
MIGUEL POV
"Hey Mikey!" I heard,I turned my head and saw one of my friends.
"Hey Brady,what's up" I asked
"Just here for a little drink,work has been kicking my ass" he said as he got closer to the bar,I chuckled before taking out a cup
"Of course brother" I said as I poured him a drink, "here you go man"
"Thanks" he said before taking a sip, "how's nessa"
"She's good,she's talking more and she doesn't mumble or speak that baby gibberish shit" I said smiling,he laughed
"That's good man,how's the baby mama?" He asked,I chuckled
"She's doing good,she should be at work" I said,he looked up at me with his eyebrows furrowed "what?"
"She should be at work? Who are you? Her dad?" He said,I scoffed
"No not like that,it's just she should be working right now"
"And if she wasn't? What're you gonna do? Spank her?" He spoke,I shook my head "oh wait never mind,you've done that before so it's nothing new"
"Oh fuck off,I haven't done anything with her in a while" I said as he slid the cup back to me to pour him more
"But I bet if she offered you wouldn't deny it right?" He asked,I smirked as I poured his drink "ha! You horn ball"
"Fuck you,we're friends and we're good friends so we're not gonna mess up especially for Vanessa"
"You think nessa is gonna be bothered by the fact her parents would be getting back together?" He said,i shook my head
"No I doubt she wants to get back together,she's doing her own thing and I'm doing mine..I don't know how she feels for me honestly"
He chuckled "it's okay,but I've heard that Marcus is trying to get with her so watch out" he said before chugging his drink
"Yeah that's not gonna happen so I'm not worked up about it" I smirked to myself as brady watched me.
TIME SKIP
some people were leaving the bar and heading home,I started cleaning up as my partner who also works with me cleans the tables.
"Alright I'm done here,see you tomorrow" I told him,he gave me a peace sign before he continued,I walked to the bag to grab my stuff.
I walked back out and out the bar since my partner closes up tonight,I started walking the way to my house.My house isn't far so I prefer to walk instead waste gas,
I pulled my phone out to check y/n's location,we've had each other's location ever since highschool and I still check to see if she's at work or home.
Is it weird? Maybe,do I care? No,I don't think she checks mine anymore but when we were together she would watch it like a hawk.
But it was what I loved about her,no matter how toxic she was..
Y/N POV
"Say bye grandma" I told nessa,nessa waved at my mom
"Bye grandma rosa" nessa said,my mom smiled before kissing her cheek,
"Bye hermosa,bye mi niña" she said kissing me on the cheek as well,
"Bye mama" I walked down the porch with nessa in my arms to my car,I opened the backseat door and placed her in her car seat and buckled her up.
"Ready to go home?" I asked her
"Yeah" she said as she watched me,I smiled before kissing her forehead.Nessa is clearly loved by everyone,she doesn't get loud and she doesn't cry easily.
She's easy to take care of and she can speak full sentences,after I went to the driver's side and buckled myself in.I checked all mirrors before driving off,
Nessa and I was finally able to sleep in our own house,I'll make sure the doors are locked and the windows closed.
Marcus wasn't what I was expecting to be,but my baby daddy saves the day like he always does...
