Y/N POV

"Here you guys go" I said placing the plates on the table giving a fake smile before heading on over to another table "I'll be back with your check"

I walked behind the counter meeting with Taty,"I called him" she blurted out immediately catching my attention.

"Well?" I asked,she smiled

"We're going out this Saturday,I'm nervous and I don't know why" she said as I gave her a shock look,she rejected Mason a lot in high school like she said before but that didn't stop Mason.

Even though he had girlfriend's or one night stands here and there,he always found his way back to obsessing over Taty.He loved that she wasn't easy or boring,

To me,they look cute together and Miguel is trying to set them up like a good best friend that he is,me being a good best friend to Taty I'm also trying to get her some as well.

"Aw yay,he better behave or I'll drag him" I said,she chuckled

"But I'm not gonna give it up automatically-

"Well of course not,it's you and he knows you wouldn't" I told her,she nodded before our boss called her for a table.

She squeezed my arm before walking over to work,I sighed while heading over to the table who needs their check

MIGUEL POV

I cleaned the last dirty cup before looking up and seeing the same girl from before who tried to get with me, "hey,can I have the same like last time? That was really good" she asked

I nodded before grabbing one of the clean cups and started pouring her the drink, "so how's your little girl?" She asked

Now that i have a thing with y/n,all other women are unattractive to me.It's just a thing that I have,y/n has it too so no wonder brady said we're dangerous for each other

I filled up her cup before handing it to her,she raised her eyebrows basically giving me a 'thank you' as she took a sip. "She's doing good" I told her causing her to nod

"You know that offer from before?..it's still available" she said,i huffed

"Well I'm not interested like I said before" I spoke,the smug on her face was quickly gone.I don't know why she thought she would get a change again when I already told her from the beginning,

"And why not? You're single-you don't have anything going on with your baby mama" she stated,

"Actually I do have something going on with her,thank you very much even though that's none of your business" I snapped

She scoffed "alright sure,thanks for the drink" she dryly replied before placing her money on the table and walking away.

I chuckled as I took her money and placed it in my pocket,I didn't care if I hurt her feelings or any woman's feelings.

Y/N POV / TIME SKIP

"I gotta go to Wendy's house,she invited me over for dinner" I told Taty as I put on my jacket

"Aww dinner with the in laws? Que cute" she mocked,I smirked

"Mason is gonna be so hype seeing you again" I said,she blushed "ahhh you're blushing!"

"Shut up! I'm not" she defended,I stuck my tongue out at her as she did the same "I'm just hot okay? It's hot in here"

"Yeah right" I said as we walked out the locker room,we said goodnight to our boss before heading out the diner.We went our separate ways after giving each other a cheek kiss,

TIME SKIP

I made it to their house safely,I walked up the steps before knocking a few times.I didn't know if miguel was already here or not

The door opened revealing wendy,she gasped before her lips turned into a grin "hola mija!"

She pulled me into an embrace,I giggled as I squeezed her.She pulled away while still keeping her hands on my arms "you look so beautiful mija" she smiled

"Oh my god thank you,you look stunning as always" I said causing her to laugh,

"He's not here quite yet,Vanessa is in the kitchen talking to her grandpa about something and I know she would be happy to see you" she told me,I nodded before walking in.She closed the door behind me,

I walked into the kitchen seeing Miguel's dad and nessa, "look who's here" he told her as she turned her head and saw me

"Mommy!" She said lifting her arms to motion me over to her,I sat on the seat next to her high chair after kissing her head.

"Hey baby,how was your day?" I asked,she gave me a thumbs up

"Good" she muttered,I nodded with a smile "where's daddy?"

"He should be here soon" I told her while rubbing her back.she nodded

"Y/n do you want anything to drink?" Miguel's dad asked,I shook my head with a light smile

"No I'm good,thank you" I said,he nodded before getting up.There were knocks on the door quickly getting Vanessa's attention,it's noticeable that she loves seeing her parents together

I heard wendy greet miguel,I can tell it was him by his voice.I heard footsteps making it's way to the kitchen, "what you making though cause I'm starving-

Miguel stopped himself as he saw me,he looked back at his mom then back at me. "Well hello stranger" he said,I chuckled

"Hey" I spoke,he looked back at his mom

"You invited her?"

"Well I didn't think it would be a problem mijo" she said,

"No it's not a problem" he said while turning his head to meet his eyes with mine "not a problem at all" he sat down across from me

"Good cause either way if it was,she would stay here" Wendy said before turning back to the stove,I smiled as Miguel's dad was helping wendy

Miguel stared at me, "how was work?" He asked

"It was alright,you?"

"Same old" he said before smirking,

"Any guys hit on you y/n?" Miguel's dad spoke up,Miguel's facial expression quickly changed before looking at his father

"Almost all the time" I bragged while keeping my eyes on miguel,he moved his eyes onto me as his head was still facing his dad

"Really?" Miguel said, "I'll have to visit someday then"

"Oh you don't have to-

Miguel interrupted me

"Oh but I would love to,trust and believe me..I would love to"
