Echo's POV

I spent a little while tracking his watch, but I found him. I decided to wait behind a tree that's close by so that I could try to figure out what to say to him.

Shashi- Hey.

He popped up next to me, which caused me to scream before he put a hand on my waist to bring me back towards him.

Echo- What the hell is wrong with you!? You scared the shit out of me!

Shashi- Sorry. I guess I'm a pretty good spy, huh?

Echo- Shashi. I just wanted to... I...

Shashi- This is hard for you isn't it?

Echo- I'm not great at apologies.

Shashi- Keep going. It's kinda hot.

Echo- Seriously? I thought you were mad at me.

Shashi- It's hard to be mad at you.

He steps forwards and wraps his arm around my waist.

Echo- Shashi.

Shashi- Yes?

Echo- I'm sorry.

Shashi- I'm sorry too.

Echo- You were being a real asshole.

Shashi- That's a bit harsh.

Echo- Are we good now?

He quickly leaned in and kissed me. He put his other hand on the back of my neck. I smiled into the kiss and he chuckled. I put my arms around his neck. He quickly pulled away.

Shashi- You suck at apologizing.

Echo- Shut up.

I pulled him back in and tightened my grip around his neck. He groaned into the kiss.

Frostee- Seriously? I tell you to go apologize and this is what you do?

Shashi- Little busy here Frost.

Frostee- Layla and Tony sent the message.

He turned to walk away and mumbled under his breath.

Frostee- Can't leave them alone for 2 seconds.

I pulled our lips apart just for Shashi to reconnect them.

Echo- Shash, we should go back.

Shashi- Why would we do that?

Echo- Because.

Shashi- That's not an answer.

Echo- Let's go.

I pulled his hand off my waist and tried to drag him towards the way of the barn.

Shashi- Ugh. Fine.

We started to walk back when Shashi came up behind me and picked me up over his shoulder.

Echo- SHASHI! PUT ME THE HELL DOWN!

He indeed did not put me down. He speed walked the rest of the way to the barn.

Cisco- I guess they're better now!

Frostee- Yea. Great.

Shashi sat me down and I smacked his shoulder.

Shashi- Hey!

I pointed a finger in his face.

Echo- Don't ever do that again.

Shashi- Yea yea yea.

Frostee- So they sent the message and now all we have to do is wait.

Cisco- What about Tony and Layla?

Frostee- They should probably be back in a little bit. It'll also take the rest of the team some time to find the exact location and time.

Tony's POV

After a while more of horse riding, we made it to only a few miles away from the barn.

Layla- What are you so excited about?

Tony- We're gonna get back soon!

Layla- How can you tell?

Tony- I remember this place. It was pretty close to the barn.

Layla- Yea. We only got like 3 miles left. What? You don't like spending alone time with me anymore?

Tony- No! I just... my butt is so numb!

Layla- Oh!

She started laughing and leaned her head back against my chest.

Tony- Why is that so funny?

Layla- I don't know! But it is!

Tony- Careful. You're gonna crash the horse.

Which only made her laugh more.

Tony- Looks like you've got a case of the giggles.

I love when Layla gets the giggles. She gets a huge smile on her face and really anything I say to her will make her laugh. I held her waist as she still leaned back on my chest. Her face was looking straight up at me as she continued to laugh. I leaned down and kissed her forehead which stopped her laughing and she just looked at me.

Tony- What?

Layla- I love you.

Tony- I love you more.

Layla- Oh no you don't. I love you mostest.

Tony- Damn. That's a lot.

She started giggling again.

Tony- This is gonna last a while isn't it?
