Diluc x Kaeya

Getting to know the samurais

"Welcome, guests from Inazuma. Please enjoy the meal we have prepared for you!" Jean announced to the group of Inazuman locals and Knights of Favonius.

The party has started, it took place in the lobby of the Knights of Favonius headquarters. Knights mingled with samurais. Diluc walked around talking to various samurais, seeing if anyone was suspicious. Diluc was slightly uncomfortable due to the dress he was wearing. It was a black cotton dress which exposed his entire back and chest. Diluc felt the familiar exposed feeling he did when he used to wear women clothing.

Diluc was listening to a samurai talk about his honorable father's adventure to the deep seas when he felt a familiar arm around his shoulder.

"Your father was truly a commendable man, I wish I could meet him," Kaeya slithers his way into the conversation in his light, jokey mood.

"Oh, thank you for the compliments, what is your name?" The samurai asked.

"Forgive my rudeness, I am Kaeya, Calvary Captain. And I am the escort and date of the honorable lady Diana."

Diluc almost spat out his drink. He was Kaeya's what? Diluc shot a glare as sharp as a dagger. Diluc tried to push Kaeya off but Kaeya held Diluc tight around his arm. Diluc realized that Kaeya liked doing that. As if that was his everyday way to tease Diluc.

"Play along now dear lady Diana, you wouldn't want any suspicious be thrown around now, would you?" Kaeya whispered into Diluc's ear. Kaeya knew what he was doing. Diluc lightly elbowed Kaeya in the ribs and turned to the samurais and smiled and played along.

After a few more exchange of words, Diluc left with Kaeya's arm wrapped around his shoulder.

"Get off me now Kaeya," Diluc told Kaeya in a low, yet threatening tone.

Kaeya only just laughed, "Now now dear lady Diana," Kaeya started, moving his arm down to wrap around Diluc's exposed back and land on his ribs, "Let me introduce you to some interesting people. Kaeya started leading Diluc towards a table in the corner where some people were sitting.

Kaeya clapped to get everyone's attention, "Everyone, this is lady Diana, from Fontaine. Lady Diana, these are Inazuma locals. From left to right, lady Kamisato Ayaka, general Gorou, ninja Sayu, and Kamisato clan's head butler Thoma.

"Nice to meet you lady Diana," Thoma said with a politeful bow, he then turned to Kaeya, "Please let me once again thank the Knights of Favonius for giving us a warm welcome. Mondstadt is just as brightful and free as I remembered."

"No problem Mr. Thoma, by chance have you visited Mondstadt before?" Kaeya asked.

"Ah yes, I am actually a Mondstadt native. I moved to Inazuma to be a housekeeper for the Kamisato estate, and then the whole vision hunt decree happened~"

Kaeya and Thoma started walking towards the food idle and Diluc was left at the table with Ayaka, Gorou, and Sayu.

"It is a pleasure to meet all of you, if you have any questions feel free to ask."

Ayaka got up and did a bow, "Thank you lady Diana for your hospitality. If I may be honored to ask a question, do you know anyone here who is a professional at swordplay?"

Diluc thought for a moment, then smirked, "Yes of course lady Ayaka, Kaeya who was just here is an excellent master with his sword. Surely he will not disappoint."

Ayaka did a politeful bow, "Thank you for answering my question. I will be sure to ask Sir Kaeya to an honorable duel later this week.

Serves him right, Diluc continued to talk with the Inazuma guest. Gorou was a little shy at first but Diluc brought up the church and Gorou seemed slightly interested. Sayu was snoozing the entire time.

After more small talk, Diluc said goodbye to Ayaka and Gorou and made decided to take a break in the library. Diluc wasn't used to wearing heels and they started to hurt his ankle.

Diluc sat down and replayed the night through his head. He didn't suspect anyone yet, and he didn't have any leads except the one Venti gave him. Diluc began to doubt if Venti was even reliable. That old drunken bard was a jokester.

After a little bit of rest, Diluc got up and to his surprise, his dress started slipping. It was odd because the dress was pretty tight on him. Diluc tried to hold his dress up and grabbed it from the top. Then Diluc saw it, or rather didn't see it. The bulge on his chest, it was gone. Diluc has turned back into a man.
