Dream POV:

I had a nightmare again... I'm never going to get over Nighty's corruption am I?... I should have listened to him...

No! I can't feel negativity. I'm the guardian of positivity afterall!

Slapping myself to snap out of my thoughts, I got up from my bed. Chuckling slightly at how Ink had made a drawing of clouds and the sun on the walls of my bedroom. Quietly opening up the door to my room, I silently walked to the kitchen, wanting to get something to drink.

I froze as I heard someone humming in the kitchen. Walking into the kitchen, I saw Mystery putting icing on a cake.

"Uh... Hello?" I chuckled slightly at how Mystery was startled and practically snapped his neck with how fast his head turned.

"Why are you awake?" I couldn't help but ask.

"Oh! I'm making the cake that I promised to Error" I frowned slightly in concern. "It's 11:30 PM. Aren't you going to sleep?"

"Nah I'm alright. I'm still not used to falling asleep"

"What do you mean by that?"

"Oh... Uh you know? The anti-void messes with your senses and makes it so you don't really need for basic needs?..." It was quite obvious that Mystery was lying judging by his emotions, but I didn't push it.

"So on what step are you on now?"

"Oh, I'm trying to recreate a basic version of Outertale's sky. Error loves to relax there!"

I couldn't help but agree to Error's taste "I saw it a few times and it is absolutely true that it's an amazing place to relax."

"... So why are you awake?" Mystery's question caught me off guard.

"... I had a nightmare and wanted to get water to quench my thirst."

"That's ironic" I couldn't help but chuckle myself.

"I guess it is... Wait- You know Nightmare?"

"Yeah, how do you think Error's injuries got better?"

... Nightmare healed Error? I couldn't help but smile, maybe some part of Nighty was still there...

"Gah! Stop with the anime smile, it's too bright!" I couldn't help but laugh, getting myself a glass of water. I relaxed and laid my head ontop of my arms.

Listening to Mystery's humming couldn't help but make me remember how Nighty used to hum so I'd go to sleep...

I felt myself fall asleep with a smile.

Y/N POV:

I didn't expect Dream to get a Nightmare, but I guess that it's pretty obvious that Dream would with what his backstory is.

Stretching slightly I looked down at the cake and smiled in satisfaction, it looked quite good if I can say so myself.

Humming to myself I was about to put it in the fridge, but thought better than to do that. I could expect that a sans would eat it even if I put 'DO NOT EAT' on it.

Shrugging slightly, I told myself. "I'll just put it in the fridge and stay next to the refrigerator so that no one expect Error will eat it."

Putting it in the fridge, I noticed how Dream was sleeping...

Should I prank Dream?... Nah he had a nightmare, Ink is another story though!

I picked up Dream and laid him down on the couch, getting a blanket. I put it over Dream's body and went and looked around the mansion.
