THE MORNING AFTER, Alec could feel the sun hit his face as it rose over the western sky, making him sigh. Alec rolled over to his back, stretching as best he could, feeling a weight on his arm. The Joza boy looked over and saw May still asleep, facing away from him, still naked from the night before, as the sheets weren't covering either of their chests.
Alec was mesmerized by the sight of May sleeping beside him. Alec never thought he'd be here. Able to share moments with May like this, just the two of them and their love for each other.

Alec traced May's back and felt her shiver at his touch as he did, making Alec smile. He watched as her body moved up and down as she breathed. He traced his finger down her back against her spine, traveling down, relishing in the moment of being beside May.
Whenever Alec was with May, he felt high on adrenaline, the kind you'd get when bungee jumping or skydiving. But even with that adrenaline, Alec still thought himself growing nervous when May was near him. He was anxious that he could still feel butterflies in his stomach, just as when he first developed feelings for the Grant girl. It was this feeling that Alec knew he would forever love May and that they would pull through no matter what happened between them.
