SUMMARY

Love; an intense feeling of deep affection.

Evelyn Bradshaw couldn't remember the definition of everything, but love and everything surrounding it had been engraved within her pondering brain since the second she learned how to read.

Evelyn was an inquisitive person. She loved meeting new people, to an extent, and loved the idea of love. Romance, soulmates, kisses on the cheek. Those times where she was alone, the minutes ticking by in a countdown, before it dinged at the finish line and she met eyes with that person she loved once again. Everything about love - and endearment, and fondness, and infatuation, and devotion - had peaked an interest to the blonde at the ripe age of five.

However, creativity was also a strong quality prevalent in the Bradshaw girl's mind. She had only been in one relationship in the past. Thomas Dunlan had asked the pretty blonde he sat beside in Geography if she wanted to be his girlfriend, and having been obsessed with the idea, the fourteen-year-old ecstatically nodded. It had lasted a strong two months.

Ever since, she had been on dates, many dates, but had never let it lead into anything more. While she liked the idea, she did have standards. Her parents were divorced; her father, as Evelyn knew of, was occupying a small town house in central America whereas her mother lived in Aberdeen, a city a solid ten hours away. Evelyn liked to think their failure of a marriage hadn't affected her intense opinions associated with love, but then again, what else could explain the lack of romantic relations in her life?

In the middle of August, the blonde got a call that would unknowingly change everything. Who knew a childhood friend could lead to a harmless house party to a buzz of alcohol to a room at the end of a hall to him? Certainly not Evelyn, and certainly not the man with fluffy brown hair and a mind full of wit.
