The kids were all in changbins room playing monopoly while me and minho were downstairs in a pure state of panic
" the poor babies" minho said sympathetically " I know you love your parents and all but....they cant come over again. Not if they treat them like that "
" I know " I sighed " I knew something was going to happen, I don't know why i didnt shut it down the second they told me they were coming over. Poor felix is taking this worse than I thought....we should've told them what was going on with the kids, maybe they would've been a little softer on them"
" no amount of backstory will make them sympathise with them. You told them everything that happened to me and they still think I'm satan himself " he groaned " do you want to go check in on them? I'm worried "
" Sure, let's go" I took my partners hand and led him to binnies room
I knocked gently on the door "come in!" Changbin called, a happy tone in his voice
We opened the door and walked in, all the boys were looking our way
" hey kids " minho sat between jisung and changbin " are you all doing okay?"
" yeah" jeongin said " felix has been a bit on edge though "
" obviously " felix replied " they picked on me for having an eating disorder..."
" it's okay lix" I hugged him gently " I'm so sorry I let that happen"
" it's not your fault" he hummed " it's mine"
" oh, sunshine. Its not your fault and never will be your fault. Okay?" I replied " I will sort them out and if they don't change they won't come over again, simple as that"
" you don't need to give up your relationship with your parents for us" seungmin said
I sighed and shook my head " if they treat the people I love like shit they don't deserve a parent child relationship with me"
" are we going into school tomorrow?" Asked hyunjin, his hands visibly shaking
I looked minhos way " yes...but, we have talked to the school and now they have the proper precautions set out. You're all gonna be okay and if a student or teacher says anything, text one of us we can deal with them " he said
Hyunjin stood up and went over to his mom, hugging him tightly " mom...he isn't ready to face that again " said jisung
" I know " minho pecked the top of hyunjins head sympathetically " but you've got to give it a try. Yeah?"
" I know " hyunjin said weakly " but....what if they bully me"
" well, like mom said. You need to text us " I re assured, my arms still around felix " it'll all be okay"
" are you sure?" Changbin asked, we nodded
" absolutely " I hummed " we won't let anything bad happen to you kids, and if something does happen we will deal with it immediately "
" thank you guys for being here for us" felix said with a slight smile
" of course " minho replied, ruffling hyunjins hair gently as the boy hugged him tighter
I love my family, I love my boyfriend, I love my kids , I love all of it. If it means I have to ditch my parents for them to be happy or at least not invite them over to the house as much so be it. The kids can meet another two members of the family who are far more favourable than my patents, those being my siblings hannah and lucas , I'm sure they'd love them considering lucas is a similar age to them , aka seventeen and hannah is overall just cool and also a similar age, aka nineteen. I'll ask them to visit sometime, it would be nice if my siblings could meet my kids
