Hyunjins pov
I waited in the waiting room for kai, he said he was coming over to check on lixie today. And me.
My leg bobbed as I waited for him with my head leant back against the wall and with my arms crossed.
" hyunjin " I looked up at the sound of my name and saw kai walking over
I jumped up and ran into his arms " hi ningning "
" how are you feeling?" He pulled away and cupped my cheeks making me blush slightly
" I'm okay" I hummed " well....my best friend has the chance of dying but. I'm okay as I can be"
" good to hear " he smiled softly
" can I have another hug?" I asked in a whisper , he nodded and pulled me into his arms again
I took in his vanilla scent and smiled then holding him a bit tighter " you sure you're okay, prince?" He said softly, my entire face reddened at the nickname
" yeah...I'm sure" I nodded " cmon" I pulled away and held his hands " you wanna see lixie , yeah?"
" of course " he replied
I smiled at him before walking him to the room felix was in " wow" he said at the sight of all the mattresses on the floor " are you okay sleeping on the floor? Do you not get cold at night without blankets?"
" I get very cold" I admitted
" I'll sleep here too, warm you up at night" he chuckled
" y-your parents would let you do that?" I stuttered flusteredly
" of course, plus if they didn't I'd sneak out. I don't want you getting a cold , freezing to death at night " he wrapped an arm around my shoulder before I walked him into the room properly
" guys, kais here" i announced
" hey kai" jeongin said then walked over and fist pumped the taller
" kai! You came" felix smiled, kai pulled away from me to hug felix and make sure he was doing okay
Mom nudged my arm and raised his eyebrows at me teasingly " shut up" I covered my face , he chuckled and pulled me down so I could sit beside him
" he seems gentleman like " he teased
" he is" I whispered " and he's sooo handsome "
" you sound like me when I was crushing on chan" he poked my stomach making me squeal " one of my babies is in love~"
" yeah, I might be" I giggled " I mean...look at him"
I stared at him while he talked to felix with a caring look on his face " make sure you invite me to the wedding"
" mom there's no wedding " I shoved his arm softly " not yet"
He squealed " not yet?! Aww! Jiniret" he hugged me
" shut up!" I replied
I looked at kai to see him looking at me confused " are you good there?" He asked with a laugh
" I'm fine, my moms just being annoying" I huffed, mom dug his fingers into my sides making me scream and roll out of his grip
Kais pov
I stared at hyunjin with love in my eyes as his mom attacked him making him laugh beautifully and kick his legs , suddenly I heard a cough from beside me. A stern one to grab someone's attention
I turned to see who it was, I locked eyes with his dad. My eyes went wide then quickly looked at the ground, not daring to look back at hyunjin or his dad.
Though my eyes did naturally drift to hyunjin once i heard his laughter stop , he laid on the floor breathing heavily and hugging himself. I smiled at the sight of his smile
He soon got up and walked over to seungmin who hugged him while laughing at him " shut up!" Hyunjin whined
" no" he replied
" If you hurt my boy. You won't see the light of day again." His dad spoke from beside me making my face go pale with fear
" don't threaten kai" felix giggled " he doesn't mean it, ignore him"
" o...okay" I nodded, still scared of the threatening aussie man
Of course I'm not planning on hyunjin ever. But still, a part of me was scared. Though, I know I'd never consciously hurt him. I just want to treat him right and make him feel loved
