As Jiwoo and I strolled through the mall, browsing through various stores, we finally found ourselves in Sephora, surrounded by an array of makeup products. The excitement of my upcoming wedding was palpable, and we were determined to find the perfect makeup.

Jiwoo picked up a radiant eyeshadow palette and exclaimed, "Oh, these shades would look stunning on you! Imagine the soft, romantic look we can create for your big day."

I smiled and replied, "You're right, Jiwoo! I want to look and feel like the best version of myself on my wedding day. Let's look more and find the products that will make that happen."

Just as we were marveling at the extensive collection of lipsticks, my phone began to ring. I reached into my purse, pulling it out to see Jihyun's name flashing on the screen. Curiosity piqued, I excused myself and made my way to the washroom to answer the call in private.

"Hey, Jihyun! What's up?" I asked, eager to hear what she had to say.

Jihyun's voice sounded urgent as she replied, "Listen carefully, Y/n. After thoroughly researching the strange incidents that have occurred around you, I believe there might be spirits trying to connect with you. They could have something really important to tell you."

Surprised and a little taken aback, I replied, "Spirits? Are you serious, Jihyun?"

Jihyun's tone became more serious as she continued, "I understand it's a lot to take in, but I've been studying the supernatural for days now. The patterns and occurrences you've described align with spirit activity. It's important that you stay cautious and open to what they might have to communicate."

Taking a deep breath, I absorbed Jihyun's advice and replied, "Thank you, Jihyun. I truly appreciate your help. I'll be cautious and follow your guidance."

Just when I hung up, I noticed the lights go on and off.

As the washroom lights flickered ominously, a chill ran down my spine. Panic surged through me as I desperately tried to make my way towards the exit, only to find the door mysteriously locked. Fear consumed me, and I couldn't help but scream for help, hoping someone would come to my rescue.

In my frantic state, I searched for a safe corner in the dimly lit washroom, my heart pounding in my chest.

But then, my gaze was drawn to the mirror—an eerie sight awaited me. Words appeared as if written in blood, sending shivers down my spine. The message, "I am back, sweetheart," seemed to taunt me, fueling my terror.

Unable to contain my fear any longer, I let out a piercing shriek, hoping someone would hear me and come to my aid.

Just then, as if on cue, the door swung open, and there stood Jiwoo, her face filled with concern and alarm.

"What happened? I heard your screams!" Jiwoo exclaimed, rushing to my side.

Trying to compose myself, I mustered a weak smile and said, "I...I'm fine, Jiwoo. It was just...a momentary scare. You don't need to worry."

However, Jiwoo could sense my distress and saw through my feeble attempt to dismiss the situation. Her eyes searched mine, filled with worry and curiosity.

"Are you sure you're okay? Something seems off," Jiwoo said, her voice laced with genuine concern.

"It's...hard to explain," I began hesitantly, my voice trembling. "The lights started flickering, and the door locked by itself. I saw something...disturbing on the mirror. But it's probably just my imagination playing tricks on me. Let's just forget about it for now."

Jiwoo's brow furrowed with worry, but she respected my wish not to discuss it further. She stepped closer, offering a comforting embrace.

"Alright, if that's what you want. But remember, I'm here for you. We'll get through this together," Jiwoo assured me softly, her warmth easing the remnants of fear within me.

I nodded gratefully, finding solace in her support. It was a relief to have someone I could confide in without judgment or skepticism.

"Let's continue with our shopping, shall we?" Jiwoo suggested, trying to bring back a sense of normalcy.

I agreed, determined to push the unsettling incident to the back of my mind, at least for the time being. Together, we resumed our mission to find the perfect makeup products for my wedding, embracing the distraction and the comfort of Jiwoo's company.

Deep down, however, I couldn't help but wonder about the message on the mirror and the strange occurrences surrounding me.

I took out my diary and opened it to the page where I had been documenting the peculiar occurrences that had been unfolding in my life. Each entry served as a reminder of the strange and unexplained events that had left me with more questions than answers.

My hands trembled slightly as I held the pen, the ink leaving its mark on the paper. I carefully chronicled the washroom incident, describing the flickering lights, the locked door, and the haunting message on the mirror. The words appeared before me, a tangible reflection of the eerie encounter.

Closing the diary, I couldn't help but feel a surge of confusion and curiosity. Who was this spirit trying to reach out to me? And what was the purpose behind their communication? The pieces of the puzzle seemed scattered, leaving me with an intricate web of questions.

Taehyung joined me in the living room, holding a beautifully wrapped gift in his hands. He smiled warmly and said, "Hey, I thought you could use a little pick-me-up. I know it's been a tough day."

Surprised and touched by his thoughtfulness, I replied, "Oh, Taehyung, you didn't have to do that. Thank you so much. You always know how to make me feel better."

He shrugged playfully, his eyes gleaming with affection. "Well, it's my duty as your loving partner to take care of you, especially when you're feeling down. Open it and see what's inside."

With excitement bubbling within me, I eagerly tore off the colorful wrapping paper, revealing a box of my favorite chocolates. I couldn't help but beam at the sight. "You remembered! These are my absolute favorites. How did you know?"

Taehyung chuckled, leaning in closer. "I pay attention, my love. I notice the little things that make you happy. Plus, I may have snooped around your secret stash a few times."

We both laughed, savoring the playful banter that always brought us closer. As he handed me the box, he continued, "I thought we could enjoy these together, and maybe forget about the outside world for a while. How does that sound?"

Taking a chocolate from the box, I nodded eagerly. "Sounds perfect. Let's forget about the worries and indulge in some chocolate therapy."

As we sat on the couch, enjoying the sweet treats, the room filled with the sound of our laughter and heartfelt conversations. Taehyung shared amusing stories from his day, and I vented about the challenges I had faced. Our bond grew stronger with each passing moment, as we found solace and comfort in each other's company.

Between bites, I looked at Taehyung and said, "Thank you again, Taehyung. This means so much to me. You always know how to brighten my day."

He smiled, his eyes reflecting genuine affection. "You're worth every effort, my love. Seeing you happy is all I could ever ask for. Remember, I'm here for you through thick and thin."

Feeling a surge of gratitude, I reached out and held his hand, intertwining our fingers. "I'm so lucky to have you by my side, Taehyung. Your love and support mean everything to me."

With a gentle squeeze of my hand, he replied, "And I'm the lucky one to have you. Together, we can conquer anything that comes our way."

As the night grew late, we decided to call it a night, still savoring the warmth and joy we had shared. With a final exchange of loving words and a goodnight kiss, we retreated to our peaceful slumber, knowing that our love and connection would continue to strengthen in the days to come.
