Chapter Seven

I'd been listening to my music for over an hour when my music suddenly stopped as  someone called me

"Hey I'm on my way back," I said answering when I saw it was Luke

"Good the rest just left and Mary's husband said you'll be helping us here," he said

"Yeah," I said

"Great," Luke said and hunged up.

I walked back to the Summer Inn and once I entered I saw Luke

He smiled and hugged me before we started getting back to work.

As we worked I helped around while checking the guests in and helped two check out. After I showed the last couple to their room I went back to the front to see Matteo standing there talking to Luke and Bash

"So you haven't seen here?" Matteo asked

"Nope," Luke said while slipping his arm around Bash's waist

"Do you have any idea where she might be? Everyone is looking for her," I heard Matteo say

"Why?" Bash asked

"Mary might have told her that Johnson knows who her mother was," Matteo said

"Was? And how would Johnson know that?" Bash asked glaring at him

"Johnson used to date her mother until he discovered that her mother was cheating on him with Henderson. He left New York and moved here where he met my aunt and cousin. Four years ago he got the news that Luna's mother Daphne died," Matteo said making me freeze in my spot

"Get out. If Luna wanted to know about her mother shell go to Johnson if not leave that topic alone. Her parents abandoned her and she had a lot of crap to deal with because of that," Luke said

"She got hurt way too much because of it. If you do like her or care for her don't ever bring that up near her," Bash said

"She died?" I asked from the stairs making them all look at me

"Luna," Matteo said as he walked over to me and hugged me

"Did you know her?" I said standing still while he hugged me

"No. Just Johnson, Henderson, and my grandfather," He said

"How?" I asked

"How what?" Luke asked worriedly

"How did she die?" I asked

"She was in a car accident or so I've been told," Matteo said

"Here you are we should get going. Harriet wants us to take pictures before the party," Hades said coming in

"Go. All of you," I said pushing Matteo away from me

"You sure you're okay here?" Luke asked

I nodded my head and watched them leave. Matteo gave me one last look before closing the doors

I sat down on the stairs trying to clear my head.

"Here we are you can have a nice relaxing stay here," Henderson said coming in with two other people

I sigh before going to the desk and grabbing the keys

"D..." Henderson wanted to say my mother's name when he saw me for the first time but stopped when he saw I wasn't her.

"Two rooms?" I asked the people behind him

"Yes please," The guy said after seeing Henderson was frozen in place
