A House sat on the corner of a street with lively sounds coming from it, two individuals are in the house. One was a small boy who stood with a violin as the other was a teenage girl sitting near a piano. The two are siblings with the appearance of dark yet beautiful jet black hair that is complemented together with their black eyes that were like abyssal jewels like the starless night skies, but the boy seemed to be struggling to play his part. While the other seems to play her piece perfectly in sync with her brother, yet the brother would still mess up on some cords of a certain segment of the music. The female sibling is deep in thought as the younger brother discerns that his sister is extremely frustrated...

The memory began to replay as if it was a tape rewinding as that day replayed in the boy's mind

"Sunny. The recital will start soon and after all our practice, why can't you get this single note right?" The girl said sternly to the trembling boy as the pain started accumulating each second as he stared at the ground not facing his sister

"I-I'm so sorry..." The boy stuttered in a quiet voice that was shaking as he gritted his teeth to dull the pain

The siblings started from the beginning as the music started playing as it was all seeming to be coming together flawlessly until...

"TWANGGGG!"

The music stopped as Sunny knew he was in trouble so he did something that he shouldn't have done, looking into Mari's eyes. The rage emanating from the pupils of her eyes were burning with a cold icy glare as she marched towards him

"M-Mari...I-I..." Sunny's voice trembled as he shook with fear from his sister's furious aura

"Get out. I won't repeat it a second time, you better do your best once we get on that stage." Mari said in a menacing tone, Sunny stayed silent as he bit his lip. He went out of the room as he proceeded to walk to the stairs as he looked down at the bottom of the staircase

"Why...why...WHY!?!" Sunny yelled out as he threw the violin down the stairs, with a loud crash. It had finally all came to an end, the once happy memories with the violin had now changed into an instrument of torment. The sounds of a door snapping open as it slammed against the wall as Sunny turned to see Mari burst out of the music room

"SUNNY! What did you do?!" Mari yelled as she was devastated, her perfect chance to shine. To climb up the social ladder, to become famous. It all went down the drain as she shot daggers at her brother who took a step back before looking at the staircase as he tried running down before being stopped by his beloved sister

"Oh, you aren't going anywhere, MISTER." Mari said as she blocked the way, at the moment. Everything seemed to be so surreal, Sunny couldn't handle it as he just wanted to get away. The cornered boy who would never have done anything violent in his life had now been spurred into a panic as the stress was finally taking ahold of him as he couldn't believe what happened before his eyes. His body moved on its own out of instinct as he saw his sister fall

"M-Mari!" Sunny called out as chills ran through his body, Mari spiraled down toward the bottom of the stairs before being propelled upward as someone else had taken the fall.

"Aubrey." Mari said with a surprised look on her face as the little girl that had almost fell on to the shattered pieces of the violin, Mari turned back to Sunny who had started running away as she tried chasing after him before coming to a halt by Aubrey taking a hold of her. Mari's anger overtook her as she shoved Aubrey off

"Crack."

The unsettling sound made Mari freeze as Sunny had already made it out of the house running to god knows where, Mari checked on the little girl as she immediately started calling for the ambulance.

|SUNNY|

I ran and ran as I didn't stop even after the brink of exhaustion as my body wore out, I could feel my cells in my body getting teared apart as I had ran until the night sky appeared before me. I had made it in the city somewhere as it was all so bright, I couldn't make sense of it all as I went straight into a dark place as I finally got some rest.

"Hugh...huff..." I gasped as I caught my breath, my senses were very sensitive as I heard someone approaching from the alleyway as a gang of men spotted me

"Oh? Are you lost kid? We'll help you, for a price." They said as I trembled

"Come on, just pay up. That's all you have to do kid." Their voice was ever seemingly disturbing as I tried running away, but it didn't work. They latched onto my arm as one of them took out a knife as they came closer, I instinctively knew I might die so I bit the man who had the weapon as I took the knife from him slashing the arm of the person that was holding onto me. They rushed at me as I started running through the alley, it was like a maze as I found small spaces to run through as they had a hard time catching up. I eventually lost them, but my stamina was depleted.

"DID YOU REALLY THINK YOU COULD RUN?" A voice yelled from the darkness as I tried getting up, the exhaustion had caught up to me as my legs gave out. Was it really going to end like this?

"You can do it, you can do it..." I muttered as I took a deep breath before stabbing my left leg, the pain was enough to make me ignore my fatigue as I started running. I limped away as I saw a light as I walked toward it hoping it would get me out of here as the moment I reached it, I fell. The sensation of my body rolling down somewhere as I passed out from all the pain wishing I was back home...

"Hey..!"

"Wake up..!"

"Oh jeez..."

"And I came all this way to help you..."

I snapped awake as my head bumped into something as I rubbed my head before noticing where I was, it was an area covered in flowers as I looked around. I still felt dizzy but my leg felt a lot better than it did before, I remembered the voice I heard as I turned around.

"Ah, thank you for-helping...me?" I sputtered as it was a girl with blonde hair that was cut short as her yellow eyes shined like the sun

"No problem, what are you doing out here though?" The girl asked as I had no idea what to say, I was always bad at talking to others.

"O-oh, I was-I..."

The memory came back to me as I remembered what I did, the guilt made me feel like I was being drowned by a cold grip of death as my vision became hazy.

"Hey, are you okay? I'm still surprised your able to see with your right eye when it's all busted up like that." The girl said as I found my surroundings becoming a blur

"No! no. Not again...I'm sorry. I'm sorry." I panicked as I remembered it all, what I was feeling. The pain I caused, I crumbled down as I curled up as I shut my eyes before a gentle embrace from the girl as she calmed me down. My senses started to fade as my feelings started to disappear as the adrenaline rush had turned off

"...Are...you alright?" The girl asked as I gave a simple nod as I got back up

"The name's Sunny, what's yours?" I said in a cold tone as the girl was a bit startled from my new change

"Elisa, I was running away from home and I ended up finding you. Strange isn't it? It was so stressful there, is it something similar to what happened to you?" Elisa said as she looked curious but also guilty about reminding me about a horrible memory

"Yeah...so what do we do now?" I asked her as she smiled

"I managed to get some money before running away! It should secure our funds for at least a few months." Elisa answered as I sighed, what would happen now?
