Part 20: Shocker.

Pretty lazy chapter but calm before the storm 👹

It was morning and I jolted awake as I heard the door roughly open. John is almost immediately pushed off the bed and I feel the familiar smell and sight of Kate. She holds onto me tightly and sighs as she sticks her head into my neck.

Kate: Thank god you're safe. I came here as soon as I could.

I feel Kate's hands move along my small baby bump and she looks at my face as I hear the small shriek from Melanie's voice.

Melanie: A baby!!

I laugh and smile as I look back at Kate who is actively coddling me as if I was her wife. I turn onto my back and I feel her move with me. I look at her softly and smile.

Y/N: I'm craving pickles and whip cream.

John: That's crazy.

Melanie: I don't think any of us are making that.

Y/N: that's fine. Now that I'm thinking about it whipcream kindve makes me want to jump off a bridge.

Kate: maybe don't do that.

Gaz: yeah that can like kill you.

I furrow my eyebrows and look to see Gaz standing at the door with soap and several plates of pancakes.

Y/N: good morning Gaz and Soap.

Soap: good morning. How's baby Johnny?

Y/N: the baby is fine but I highly doubt we'll name it Johnny. There's to many J names in our family.

Gaz: told you they were gonna name it Kyle.

Soap: oh shut it. I bet they're just saying that to surprise me.

Y/N: keep it up and I'll name it Simon.

Soap & Gaz: *gasp* you wouldn't dare.

Y/N: I would.

John: oh boy here we go again.

Y/N: Melanie, get a divorce and let's move to Norway.

John: why Norway?

Y/N: snow and trees. I don't do well in heat.

Kate: is that why you freaked out when I mentioned Mexico?

Y/N: yes.

I move my body to sit up and lean against the head board while looking up to see Gaz and Soap tearing apart the plates of pancakes. Ghost appears behind them and watches them.

Ghost: I hope you choke.

Y/N: I would laugh.

Ghost: she gets it.

Kate: pregnancy made you mean.

Y/N: maybe it's because I'm not a morning person.

Kate: you love being woken up with cuddles though.

Y/N: yeah from your wife.

I smile as I look at Kate and she scoffs as she pokes my side. I let out giggles and she starts to tickle me.

Y/N: John save me!!

John: nope. You said you were going to Norway without me.

I let out loud laughs as I gasp for air from Kate to killing me. She finally relents and I breath heavily with a small breathy laugh.

Y/N: I bet you guys have the biggest hangover right now.

I smile at Soap and Gaz before finally stretching my body and getting up to get pickles.

Y/N: if I don't have a jar of pickles in my hands within five minutes, I'm committing war crimes.
