Love is not here, it's hard to borrow
The world is filled with pain and strife
The beauty of love is just a lie
The darkness of life gives no respite
Your soul is filled with never ending plight
You search for love that's hard to find
Your heart is broken, your tears unwind
The world is so full of despair
Where hope and love seem to be rare
The darkness has taken all the light
And only sadness remains in sight
Open your eyes and see the truth
Love is not here, it's so uncouth
Your heart will never feel content
For love is gone, it's not what it meant
