Does love really matter?
To hearts that have been shattered?
It may seem like a lie
But it's hard to deny
The pain that lingers on
The love that's now gone
It hurts to remember
The feelings held in December
The hope and the dreams
The promises it still seems
But love really does matter
Even in a broken heart it will chatter
It can still be found
Though the sadness is profound
A light in the dark
A spark in the heart
